  I was so impressed with Statewide – they really went above and beyond to help me. I needed assistance locating some old survey markers on a property I’d recently bought, and they responded incredibly quickly with several solutions. They even generously provided me with a metal detector and gave me a helpful training session, which my son and I used to actually ‘hunt’ for the markers! It turned out to be a really fun afternoon, and we found them all in about two hours. My son was a little skeptical about the whole “buried treasure” thing, but he’s starting to understand just how valuable those survey markers are! Honestly, the entire team – from the initial emails to the friendly staff who made me feel like I was visiting an old friend – were fantastic and incredibly helpful.   “I really appreciated Statewide’s help with a complicated situation involving land use permits near the Sandy River. It turned out a small part of the property was mistakenly included in the flood zone, which created a huge headache with surveys and navigating FEMA. Several survey companies I contacted were completely lost, and the quotes were incredibly high. Thankfully, a local recommended Statewide, and they were fantastic. They quickly provided clear guidance, got the project moving forward, handled all the elevation certificates needed for planning and building, and ultimately secured a Letter of Map Amendment from FEMA to remove the property from the flood zone.   Greg and Statewide were fantastic – they really took the hassle out of getting my easement done. He was super upfront about his turnaround time and went above and beyond to find the most cost-effective option by checking with a company that already had my property information.   Overall, our experience with Statewide was really positive. We just needed to locate our property corners for our own records, and they were incredibly helpful. Younger Greg patiently walked us through the options, including renting a metal detector, and the older Greg showed us how to use it and provided us with really useful information based on the maps they gave us. We were able to find four of the five metal markers we were looking for, and even after dealing with some pretty dense vegetation, Younger Greg took the time to explain how to find the boundary lines. We’d absolutely use their services again if we needed any surveying work – and they even had a bowl of candy at the reception desk, which was a nice touch! report abuse
