  Madison is a fantastic contractor! They recently completely rebuilt two porches and an upper balcony on three separate rental properties, and their work is truly impressive. I was particularly impressed with their latest project – the upper balcony redo, where they flawlessly matched the original 100-year-old brick and mortar.   “Jay, Andrea, and Mike were absolutely fantastic! They did an amazing job rebuilding our three chimneys, which had unfortunately suffered from poor workmanship before.   Honestly, the quality of their work seems solid – I’ve seen them doing excellent tuck pointing in my neighborhood, Indian Village. However, the customer service was completely unacceptable. I scheduled an appointment for an estimate on my porch, and they canceled just a few hours before, offering no real solution. Then, when I followed up to reschedule, they repeatedly assured me they could come out until 5:00 PM, only to not show up at all. There was no communication, no apology, and absolutely no follow-up. It’s incredibly frustrating and makes me question their professionalism. It’s clear they don’t value potential clients, and I won’t be using their services again. report abuse

  Overall, I was extremely disappointed with this company’s work. They didn’t complete the job properly – I ended up having to finish the tuck pointing myself. They also significantly overcharged, adding on extra costs without my consent. Most concerningly, the work they did on my chimney was completely unacceptable. They promised to cap it with cut stone, but it looks like they simply poured concrete and drastically altered the chimney’s original, decorative design. After they left, a different company had to come back and quote the work they hadn’t done. I wouldn’t recommend using this company. report abuse

  “Overall, the masons did a fantastic job – they really paid attention to detail, especially matching the new mortar perfectly to the old. I was also really impressed with the thorough cleanup; they power washed the driveway, porch, and walkway beautifully.
