  Keith and his team were absolutely fantastic! I hired them to completely remodel my old 1900s rental property, which had four tenants, and they truly transformed it. They were incredibly talented and went above and beyond my expectations, especially considering I was aiming for a budget-friendly renovation for a rental. What really stood out was Keith’s communication – he was so prompt and responsive, which was a huge relief. He was fantastic at managing the process, especially with the college students living there, and he carefully phased the work to avoid overwhelming them. Because I live out of state, I didn't have to worry about checking in constantly, thanks to his regular updates and photos. The whole project, from start to finish, took just 12 weeks, and the final result is stunning!   Keith and his team did an absolutely fantastic job remodeling our bathroom! They were so professional and considerate – it was amazing working with them. Because our house is 120 years old, they were particularly skilled at matching the existing wall and trim after replacing our window, and they really paid attention to detail, ensuring the floor was perfectly level before installing the new shower and flooring. They were always on time, kept the work area spotless, and even went the extra mile to make sure we had a working toilet every night.   Honestly, we were so frustrated – we’d been trying to get a barn built for two years and had a terrible experience with three other contractors. We’d get strung along for ages and it was nearly impossible to get anyone to return our calls. Thankfully, a local electrician connected us with Keith and A1 General Contracting, and it was the best decision we ever made. They got straight to work, and we had the foundation down within just three weeks! From then on, everything just went smoothly, and the finished barn is absolutely fantastic – it even exceeded our expectations.   A-1 did an absolutely fantastic job renovating our old cottage at Twin Lakes. They completely transformed the place, adding a second floor and two beautiful new bathrooms. They also did a brilliant job remodeling and updating the existing rooms with new drywall and flooring. The quality of their work was outstanding, and we really appreciated how they handled everything while we were away in Missouri – Keith was incredibly responsive and had some fantastic suggestions throughout the process.   “We were incredibly impressed with Brian, Steve, and Rob’s work on our recent project. They truly went above and beyond, particularly with the ceiling installation in our shop which cleverly concealed our utilities. The new staircase leading to the Bonus Room was also outstanding – the window move was done with such precision, you wouldn't even know it had been moved!
