  We were absolutely thrilled with the work Capital Remodeling did for us. Our new kitchen is stunning – it’s truly beautiful! From start to finish, the contractors were incredibly professional and respectful of our home. They completed everything on schedule, and we really appreciated the supervisor checking in every two days to keep us updated.   “My wife and I were really pleased with Capital Window’s service. We’d used them before a few years back to replace our sliding glass door, and we knew we could trust their quality. We recently had them replace 24 windows, and everything was fantastic – the communication was excellent, the product itself was top-notch, and the installation was done perfectly.   Honestly, my experience with this company was really unsettling. I initially saw their ads on Facebook and, after meeting some friendly people at the Home Expo, I scheduled an appointment. However, from the start, it felt overly intrusive. They kept asking about other decision makers, which felt strange since I’d already stated there weren’t any, and then they started grilling me about home ownership – demanding to see my deed! It was completely unnecessary, especially considering I’m planning a major investment. I’ve worked with other contractors who never asked for such detailed documentation, and frankly, it felt like a waste of time. When the person scheduled to meet with me canceled last minute, I just wanted to reschedule, but they immediately brought up the ownership issue again. I just wanted a free quote, not a full-blown interrogation. I’m definitely going with the company I met at the Home Expo – the reviews suggest they’re much less demanding. It’s clear they’re trying to scare people off, so be prepared for a lot of questions and scrutiny if you choose to work with them. report abuse

  “We couldn’t be happier with Capital’s work on our kitchen remodel. Their long history and fantastic reputation really put our minds at ease when we decided to go ahead with the project. The key thing we learned is to be really proactive – make sure they understand exactly what you want and any concerns you have from the very beginning. They were amazing and finished the remodel in just under three weeks, which was a huge surprise! It’s fantastic to finally have our new kitchen and we’re looking forward to making lots of memories there.   I absolutely love my new windows from Capital Remodeling! They were incredibly efficient and professional – they installed all seven windows in my house in just one day! Not only are they beautiful, but I’ve already seen a noticeable difference in my cooling bill, and I’m confident they’ll save me money during the winter too. Capital Remodeling even helped me secure a loan for the project, which made everything so much easier.   Overall, our experience with this company was a bit mixed. David, the installer, was fantastic – really top-notch work. And I also appreciated the helpfulness of the office staff whenever I contacted them. However, the biggest issue was with the design process. The kitchen looks decent now, but we ended up having to do a lot of the work ourselves because the initial design from the sales team wasn't quite right. Frankly, I was disappointed, especially considering the amount of money we spent. When we raised our concerns about the lack of the 3D rendering we were promised, they suggested buying an additional cabinet – a $215 purchase that we had to install ourselves. To add to the frustration, we later found the same cabinet at a local store for just $83, including installation. I’d recommend this company, but only if you already have a solid kitchen design in place. I’d really caution you to be very careful when talking with the sales team – they make promises, but the actual follow-through could definitely use some improvement. report abuse
