“We’re incredibly frustrated with our recent experience with MI windows. We recently invested $30,000 in these windows and the installation has been a complete disaster. We specifically ordered sculpted grids, but the windows arrived with completely incorrect, flat, cardboard-like grids applied – and they were butchered with rough, unprofessional razor cuts, leaving over 80% of them too small and completely misaligned. We’ve been trying to get this resolved for over a month, contacting the dealer who advised MI would take care of it, but no one has responded. It’s unbelievable that after such a significant investment and a month of complaints, we’ve still received no action. Frankly, the negative reviews we’re seeing online seem to reflect our experience – it appears some of the positive feedback is coming from MI employees, which raises serious concerns about the authenticity of their claims.”

“We’ve been really disappointed with our windows, which are only six years old. The finish is completely peeling off, and the bronze coating is bubbling, indicating a major problem with the adhesion between the aluminum and the paint. MI Windows immediately pointed the blame back at the builder, but the builder insists they didn’t install these windows. Honestly, it seems like MI Windows is trying to avoid responsibility, and we’re left with a clearly defective product and no support.”

“I’m incredibly disappointed with the windows installed by my builder back in 2006. Looking back, they’re some of the worst windows I’ve ever seen. They’re clearly cheaply made, and while I knew they’d eventually lose gas and need replacing, the biggest issue is the poor sealing around the corners. Water consistently leaks into the wall cavity, causing all sorts of problems. It’s concerning to hear that many builders in the PA, DE, and MD area were using these windows – I strongly advise against using them and would definitely not recommend them.”

“I really appreciate MI Windows’ commitment to quality – they definitely stood by their work. The window installer was fantastic; he was incredibly professional, kept the area tidy, and even let me know when he was finished with his last job, which was really considerate and he was punctual.”

I’m incredibly frustrated with this situation. They quoted me $80 to ship replacement parts and do the work myself, or $350 for an installation – neither of which actually covers a warranty. The warranty document itself explicitly states it covers both materials and labor, yet they’re refusing to honor it. I sent them an email on February 21st, 2022, and haven’t received any response, leading me to believe this is just a tactic to avoid responsibility.

I’m really disappointed with these windows. I recently bought a house in this neighborhood, and I’ve noticed that many of the older homes had to get their windows replaced under warranty just a few years after being installed – almost all of them were experiencing fogging issues within five years. It’s clear to me that the quality isn’t very good, and I definitely wouldn't recommend buying windows from this company.

“Overall, I was really impressed with the team’s commitment to getting the product to the client, even if it took a few attempts. It’s clear they stand behind their work, which is fantastic. However, it’s important to address the issue of damaged deliveries – a damaged product reflects poorly on everyone. A quick chat with the shipping team to emphasize the importance of careful handling of fragile items would be a really valuable step.”

“Overall, I was really pleased with the service. It was a slightly more involved process than I anticipated for a standard repair, particularly with the initial measurements and paperwork. However, the field service guy was fantastic – he went above and beyond, quickly identifying the extra panels that needed replacing and handling all the ordering and follow-up. He really got the job done efficiently with the second visit.”

“I wanted to share what a fantastic experience I had scheduling my appointment. Carlos Gaytan was incredibly helpful – he emailed and called to set everything up, and even called on his way over to my house. He was so polite, friendly, and efficient, getting everything done quickly while still being really thorough. He was also great about finding a place to store the windows that weren't being installed. I really appreciated his excellent service!”

“I just wanted to say how thrilled I am with my windows! I bought them about five years ago, and honestly, I’ve been incredibly impressed with the quality and the way they were made. I’ve been so happy with them that I’ve actually recommended them to everyone I know – my friends, family, and neighbors!”
