  I was really pleased with Inspired Home Builders. As someone who likes things done perfectly, I was particularly impressed with how thorough they were. They completely replaced my leaking roof – it had been a problem for a couple of years, and I’d let it slide a bit because of my older house and the chimney running through the garage. Mario and his team really went above and beyond, completely restoring the strength and stability of the roof and, crucially, stopping the leaks.   “Overall, there are some significant areas needing improvement. The owner isn’t consistently following up on project progress, which is concerning. We’ve also had reports of damage to neighboring properties by the crew, and the job sites have unfortunately been left in a very disorganized state – with a lot of trash, leftover materials, and nails scattered around.” report abuse

  “I can’t recommend Inspired Home Builders enough! I recently went through a major renovation on my cottage (2020-2021) with them, and was absolutely blown away by the quality of their work. I then hired them again the following year for some replacement windows, and they were just as fantastic. Mario Sandoval and his team were incredibly reliable – the subcontractors they used were clearly experienced, and they were always upfront and honest about costs, the products they recommended, and gave me plenty of choices. Everyone I interacted with, from the office staff to the project manager, was professional and really helpful when I had any questions or concerns.   From start to finish, Inspired Builders exceeded our expectations. We undertook a complete home remodel and couldn’t be happier with the stunning results – Sarah’s design work for the kitchen and bathrooms was truly brilliant, and Mario’s building skills brought those designs to life perfectly. The whole team – from the office staff who were always friendly and helpful, to the incredibly professional and courteous on-site workers – made the entire experience seamless. They were so attentive to our needs, going above and beyond to keep us comfortable and informed throughout the project and keeping the workspace tidy.   “We hired IHB in February of 2018 looking for a local contractor for our renovation, and they initially seemed great – they even did two walkthroughs, including one with the electrician, and said we could start in June. We put down a $500 deposit, which we thought would be the start of things. But then nothing happened. After a month or so, they sent us some pictures of potential designs, we made our selections and paid the remaining deposit, and just waited. Time went on, and we were getting worried because June had passed, but they still hadn’t started. Eventually, they gave us a generic quote for three stages of work, and then told us they’d have to wait until spring 2019. We asked for a detailed breakdown of the costs and the final design plans, but still no luck. Then, about three months ago, Mario, one of the owners, knocked on our door and apologized for “dropping the ball.” He said they still wanted to do the work, but it’s been completely silent since then – no prints, no financial details, nothing. Honestly, we’re incredibly frustrated and disappointed. We’ve completely lost confidence in IHB. We’ve now moved into a new house and are just trying to avoid a situation like this happening again, so we’re wary of anyone taking our money without delivering. It’s been a huge waste of time and we're just hoping to avoid getting burned like this.” report abuse
