  “I’ve been a GreenBrilliance customer since 2010, and I couldn’t be happier with the service we’ve received. From the start, the communication was fantastic – we finalized our contract easily via email. They were incredibly helpful in coordinating with Douglas Roofing to get our roof ready before we had the solar panels and hot water system installed. More recently, in 2013, we expanded our system and GreenBrilliance handled everything quickly and fairly. And when we had some unexpected issues with squirrels damaging the wiring (twice!), they responded immediately and installed stainless steel screening to protect the system. Now, because of GreenBrilliance, we’re completely off-grid and our solar panels are actually generating savings – we’re over $1500 ahead of where we’d be with traditional energy bills since 2013! They've always been so responsive to our needs, even assisting us with a solar education program at our local elementary school. I wholeheartedly recommend GreenBrilliance.” report abuse

  Overall, I had a really positive experience with Green Brilliance. From the initial installation through to the final check-up, everything ran smoothly. The team who did the work and provided follow-up support were fantastic – they were all very pleasant to work with.   “I’m incredibly frustrated with my experience with this company. We purchased our solar system a few years ago, and everything was working great until recently. Our inverter just failed in mid-January 2024, and despite repeated attempts to get it resolved, we’re still without solar power as of April. The whole situation has been incredibly confusing. We were originally told the system was being monitored, but Green Brilliance kept passing the buck to Solar Edge, claiming they were handling the monitoring. They’ve provided us with Solar Edge’s contact information, but Solar Edge themselves clarified that they only manufacture the system and don’t do installations. To make matters worse, Green Brilliance refused to even arrange for the old inverter to be picked up for return shipping, insisting Solar Edge would handle it. Finally, after posting my review, Solar Edge stepped in and subcontracted the repair to a different company, who were able to get the inverter replaced within 48 hours! Green Brilliance then followed up to confirm everything was working again – it was a really stressful experience, and I would certainly recommend looking for a more responsive and reliable service.” report abuse

  Overall, my experience with getting solar installed was a bit of a rollercoaster, but ultimately positive thanks to Green Brilliance. I initially chose a company I found on YouTube, and they did a great job initially – their sales guy was really impressive and recommended Green Brilliance as the installer. However, once we signed on, communication completely dried up from the third party, which was frustrating. After months of waiting, I contacted Green Brilliance directly, and they stepped in immediately. They explained the project was on hold due to the unpaid deposit, which I hadn’t been aware of, and they got everything moving again. The process wasn’t seamless – the county permit office had some issues that caused delays, and the power company also created some roadblocks. But Green Brilliance really went the extra mile to resolve these issues, and I appreciate their dedication. I’m still waiting for a few final steps with the power company to get my meter swapped, but I'm now producing solar and enjoying tracking my energy production through the Enphase App – it’s a really insightful tool. I initially went through a third-party company because of their great communication, and I now realize that was a mistake. I’d definitely recommend working directly with Green Brilliance; their communication has been fantastic, and they’ve been incredibly helpful throughout this process. report abuse

  Okay, here’s a natural-sounding evaluation based on the text: “My experience with Green Brilliance has been incredibly frustrating. While the initial quote and application process were straightforward, the communication and scheduling could be inconsistent, and there were a few hiccups that were difficult to resolve. It’s really important to know that Green Brilliance only installs the solar panels themselves – your local electrician handles the actual electrical connections and any necessary upgrades. I wish I’d been warned upfront about the contract fulfillment issue. They state the agreement is complete regardless of whether the panels are generating power, which is completely unacceptable. I had a leak develop *after* the panels were installed, and despite repeated attempts to get them to address it, they refuse to take responsibility. Now I’m stuck with a damaged ceiling and a terrible repair job. To anyone considering Green Brilliance, please do your research and get a roof inspection *before* they install anything. They installed the panels regardless of roof issues, and I ended up paying a huge amount to have them removed and reinstalled. Also, make absolutely sure your outside meter and panel box are updated *before* requesting solar panels. They don't offer meter changing services, which is a major oversight, and I paid significantly less going through my home insurance with a local electrician for that update. Coordinating with Green Brilliance was a nightmare. After 10 months of this process, the panels are still not active and inspected. I strongly advise against using this company." report abuse

  “I’m so sorry, but I really want to urge you to reconsider. My experience with Green Brilliance was a huge disappointment, and I honestly think it’s the worst decision I made. They seem great at first, and everyone’s singing their praises, but things quickly went wrong, and I ended up with two electric bills instead of the savings I’d been promised. Please, do your research – read the reviews carefully and really understand the company before committing.” report abuse
