  “We hired GCES, working through Oliver Schlecht, for the renovation of our apartment, but unfortunately, the experience was a complete disaster. While Mr. Schlecht was initially friendly and seemed professional, he consistently failed to deliver on his promises. The work he did was riddled with faults, requiring a completely different contractor to fix it. Worse still, he never obtained the necessary permits and used a significant portion of the funds for personal expenses, claiming a family member was terminally ill – a claim we later found to be false. He constantly blamed his subcontractors for poor workmanship, avoiding responsibility himself. Ultimately, after a frustrating four-month delay, we were forced to terminate the contract, leaving us with over $20,000 in unfinished work and damage. Mr. Schlecht simply disappeared, and we discovered he’d been fraudulently using Alexis Lopez’s name. Mr. Lopez then presented a confused front during our meeting with our lawyer. We are now preparing to file complaints with the Florida DBPR and Attorney General to ensure this situation is properly addressed and those responsible are held accountable.” report abuse
