  Steve is truly a master of his trade. I hired him to build a floor in my RV garage addition, and I was blown away by his expertise. From the very beginning, he recognized that the original plan wouldn’t work – the layout and excavation heights just weren’t going to deliver the floor thickness I wanted. He was honest about that, and immediately offered his suggestions and contact information. He went above and beyond, returning twice to work with me to find a solution, ultimately recommending a complete re-excavation to achieve my goal of a 6-inch floor with rebar, preventing future cracking. His son and assistant then expertly installed the vapor barrier and rebar, and his son even built a clever transitional step form to seamlessly connect the different floor heights. The final result was absolutely fantastic – a beautiful, professionally finished floor at a very reasonable price. I wholeheartedly recommend Steve! report abuse

  Steve MacCauley and his company were incredibly frustrating to work with. We hired them for a project, but they completely ignored us for months, offering no updates or progress. They finally started the work seemingly out of the blue, but after finishing, we waited a month to receive an invoice, which we promptly paid. Despite this, they immediately filed a lawsuit against us for non-payment, even presenting an uncashed check as evidence. Honestly, the entire situation was a huge headache and a complete lack of professionalism. I would strongly advise anyone considering working with this company to think very carefully before doing so. report abuse

  Steve MacCauley was a really frustrating experience. I hired him through my contractor to build a walkway, but he completely failed to follow through on his promises, constantly postponing the work and being incredibly rude when I asked for updates. Ultimately, he just stopped responding. Honestly, his behavior was unacceptable, and I felt completely disregarded. I’d rather tackle the project myself, even though I don’t have the expertise, than ever trust him with my home again. report abuse
