  I’m incredibly frustrated with the work that’s been done. From the start, there was no written warranty, which I found concerning. The quality is nowhere near what was expected – we’ve encountered a whole host of serious problems. Specifically, the asphalt is significantly uneven: it’s 3 inches over our granite step creating a major tripping hazard, sits 1/4 inch above the garage floor causing water damage, and the street apron is dangerously steep. Despite being assured a flush installation, the entire driveway is 3-3.5 inches raised above the ground. Adding to the issues, we’ve found over 40 feet of cracking along the edges and the contractor is now demanding costly loam work – something that wasn't discussed initially. Plus, there are dozens of holes and divots that the contractor insists are just “tread marks,” but they’re clearly much deeper. Mr. Smith’s denial of these issues is frankly unbelievable, and I’m left with no confidence in his work. Honestly, good luck to anyone else working with him. report abuse

I specifically asked them to do it in a way that would make it really durable, and they insisted that’s the only method they use. Honestly, I’m pretty confident I could park a tank on it!
