  I absolutely loved my experience with Dean’s – especially their first virtual design appointment! It was fantastic. They really walked us through their showroom virtually, we were able to take accurate measurements of our project, and we discussed so many exciting design possibilities. They were so helpful and responsive, and when we started looking into some additional services like door and window upgrades, they seamlessly connected us with another specialist. Honestly, if you’re a little hesitant about visiting a showroom, this is a brilliant alternative. The staff were great and the service was top-notch! report abuse

  “We were incredibly pleased with Dean Lumber’s work installing 20 Anderson windows and two doors in our home. Sean Smoak handled everything from start to finish, and the installers were fantastic – they arrived on time, did a truly professional job installing the windows and doors, and even took the time to clean up thoroughly afterward.   “I can’t recommend Dean’s services. We hired them for a completely custom door installation, and unfortunately, the experience was incredibly frustrating. From the start, we made it clear that a custom fit was necessary due to the unusual dimensions of our door frame, requiring us to hire someone else to remove the old frame. Despite this, they altered the initial price on the contract and then charged us the full amount, essentially doubling up the labor cost. After a two-month wait, the custom door arrived with a significant damage—a chunk missing—which they failed to address. The installation team also seemed completely lost, needing to be shown the contract to understand the full scope of the job, including the painting. They were missing essential hardware, forcing us to purchase and install it ourselves, and finally, they left the window covering still attached, meaning we’ll have to do that work too. It was a truly disorganized and unsatisfactory experience, and we won’t be using Dean for any future home projects.” report abuse

  “My experience with Dean Lumber was a bit of a surprise – it started off a little rocky. I was really needing some attic insulation for my 1948 house, and they provided double-faced brown paper, which wasn’t quite what I expected. However, the estimating team was incredibly prompt and professional, and I ultimately decided to move forward with the project. Unfortunately, the scheduled start time of 8 am shifted to 3 pm without any prior communication, which felt really disappointing. I ended up canceling, but Joanne from Dean Lumber called me back and, through her and the whole team’s genuine effort to make things right, I decided to give them another chance. It was truly exceptional customer service when Joanne remembered my mother’s 99th birthday with a beautiful hyacinth plant. That kind of attention is something you just don't find at the big box stores. Thank you so much, Joanne!   I just wanted to share a really positive experience I had with Dean Home Supply. Anthony was fantastic – so personable and genuinely helpful. I needed a garage door repair, and he took care of everything from the initial phone call to scheduling the appointment and overseeing the actual repair. The two technicians, Tony in particular, were efficient and professional, and Anthony even made sure they were following safety protocols like wearing masks.   “I was really impressed with this company! I needed a few extra PVC boards after initially placing my order, and they were fantastic about it. The representative was incredibly responsive and quickly arranged to have the additional boards pulled and added to my order – they even got it shipped out on a separate truck, arriving within just four hours!   Sean and his team were fantastic – we absolutely love our new front door! Sean was so helpful from the very beginning, he came to our house, took all the measurements, and really knew his stuff. He suggested a perfect door for our needs, and the installation was done quickly and professionally. Plus, they cleaned up everything so thoroughly, you’d never know they’d been there!
