  I’m incredibly frustrated with the handling of the damage to my vehicle following construction work next to my office. I contacted Harold Gallego about the incident and he immediately refused to take responsibility for the damage, even stating I was trying to make his company look bad. To make matters worse, I discovered through the City of Webster that United Mechanical hadn't even obtained a permit, let alone insurance, for the work. I was then passed to Gloria, who, after speaking with Harold, told me they couldn’t help me because they weren't present at the time of the damage and then simply hung up. I’ve now filed a police report with a case number and am waiting for United Mechanical to deliver my repaired vehicle so I can pursue their insurance claim. Based on my experience, I strongly advise against using this company – they’ve been dismissive, unprofessional, and frankly, unhelpful. report abuse

  Seriously, I wouldn’t recommend working with these contractors. I’ve heard reports of them unfairly charging back fees with no justification. If you do sign a contract with them, make absolutely sure the agreed-upon price is honored – they seem to have a habit of trying to change things. report abuse
