  Honestly, this store used to be fantastic! The nasal fried chicken was amazing, and they had a really great selection of products. It was a popular spot, and I even brought some friends there. But lately, a lot of the things we loved – and even some things we bought regularly – have just disappeared. It feels like they’re constantly changing their stock, and it’s frustrating. To be honest, I try to avoid going there now. It seems like they don't really value their regular customers, which is a shame. Corporate should really take a closer look at this location. report abuse

  “We checked out this place – it’s definitely set up for businesses, but anyone can come in. We were pleasantly surprised that there wasn’t a membership fee. We found a few things we really liked, including a huge can of Manwich sloppy joe sauce (6 pounds 11 ounces!), and they even make their own tortillas. We’ll definitely be back!” report abuse

  “I was really disappointed with my experience. I went in specifically because they were advertising a round roast for $3.99 a pound, and I made a special trip after receiving their email. However, when I arrived about three and a half hours later, the entire shelf was completely empty. The employee was insistent on trying to convince me that the price wasn't actually available, as if I was the one misunderstanding things.” report abuse

  “As a Grand Rapids resident, it was really great to see this store here in Houston! It’s fantastic – they have a huge selection of bulk items, which is perfect for things like company events, family reunions, or even catering. Seriously, they have everything you could possibly need. I especially loved the deep-fried mushrooms and the fully cooked frozen meatballs – and don’t even get me started on the Swedish or sweet n sour gravy! Definitely worth a visit.” report abuse

  “I was just looking for a really easy dinner tonight, and the 8-piece chicken was the perfect solution – it was exactly what I needed. I also grabbed a bag of their caramel popcorn to go with it, which was a nice little treat.” report abuse

  “I had a really disappointing experience at the Houston store. The staff seemed completely lost, offering incorrect directions and having no idea where anything was located. It was clear they weren’t properly trained, and I don't know what Gordon’s is doing to address this issue.” report abuse

  “I had a really disappointing experience at this store. The staff weren’t very welcoming, I didn’t feel like they paid much attention to me when I needed help, and honestly, I felt like a nuisance asking for assistance. I won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend shopping here.” report abuse
