My experience with Victor went very well. He was on time. Very professional. While doing the inspection he asked me what my concerns where, he did the inspection and pointed out his findings and gave me an explanation. He broke it down for me so I could better understand, which I totally appreciate! I can tell Victor is very knowledgeable in this field. Also- he got the report to us right away as he agreed due to our timeframe. We really appreciate his work. Will definitely recommend!

Victor was easy to reach, punctual, and assured me that inspecting my foundation repairs was within his expertise. We agreed on a price, and he stated I would receive a report the next day. However, when he arrived, he was dressed in a suit and did not conduct a detailed inspection as I had expected. He assessed most areas from the doorways, despite my prior descriptions and requests to examine specific concerns. When I pointed out a pier that appeared unlevel and asked if it was problematic, he assured me it would settle over time. Unfortunately, this turned out to be incorrect, and the pier ultimately needed replacement. The inspection lasted less than an hour for a 1,800 sqft home. At the end, he unexpectedly suggested that additional advice would require a higher fee, stating it would not be included in the report. This was not communicated upfront, which was disappointing. I paid the agreed amount, but four days later, I had still not received the report. When it finally arrived, it was four business days late. Given the cost, the delay was inconvenient, and the report itself was brief—containing only five bullet points. I recommend reviewing sample reports before deciding whether this service meets your needs. If you're looking for someone to conduct a detailed inspection and advocate for you, this may not be the right choice. While communication was initially smooth, the lack of thoroughness and delayed report delivery made this a frustrating experience.

Victor was awesome. His many years of experience allowed him to do an excellent report, which got me a structural permit from the City of Houston today m, to start the process of getting approval to put a generator on my flat roof garage. He is the best!!

Victor was able to schedule us with short notice. He arrived the next morning and was able to fit us in. He spent a good 2 hours on a home we were about to purchase. He was able to explain his findings and why the recommended repairs we're needed. He also made himself available for follow-up phone calls. As a result, we were able to negotiate the price of our new home. Highly recommend them.
-
Very grateful we found Victor at Foresight Engineering and Inspections. We needed a structural engineer fast and he was able to be out that day. They had the report back to us the next day. He is very prompt and professional. Ruby at the office is also very responsive. Definitely recommend.
