  “I was really pleased with the work Jeff Kennedy and his team at Kennedy and Sons did to fix my garage door lintel. My brickwork had caused the lintel to sag and crack, and it was a serious concern – I was worried about the whole facade falling apart. They installed the LintelLift system, which seems like a really smart, permanent solution, and it’s given me a huge sense of security knowing my family is safe around the garage. Jeff explained everything clearly, and while he wasn’t able to guarantee the cracks would completely disappear, he assured me the lintel would be properly supported. The installation team was fantastic – incredibly professional and skilled, and they even managed to get it done the same day, even in the rain, to meet my deadline!   “We hired this company about six months ago to address some uneven flooring and structural support issues, and overall, we were impressed with their initial recommendations. The work itself looks solid, though unfortunately, the process was really frustrating. They left a huge mess – the area under our house was muddy and piled with dirt, and they damaged the existing waterproofing. More concerningly, they never returned to complete the pier and piling adjustments they initially planned. We scheduled a follow-up appointment three months after the initial work was finished, and we haven’t heard anything from them since. Honestly, I'm very disappointed, especially considering they seemed better than many of the other flooring companies we researched.” report abuse

Honestly, I was a little apprehensive about having such a big job done at my aunt’s house, especially with contractors coming from so far away. But they really took the stress out of everything. They were incredibly responsive and efficient, getting the work scheduled and completed quickly.   “We hired Kennedy and Sons about a year ago for a pier installation in our crawl space, and they provided a warranty covering any necessary adjustments. Sadly, they’ve completely failed to uphold that warranty. We’ve contacted them six times over the last few weeks – by phone – and once by email, desperately seeking a solution, but we’ve gotten absolutely no response. They keep promising to call us back, but it never happens. It’s incredibly frustrating and disappointing to be ignored like this. Potential customers really need to be aware of this. A company’s commitment to honoring its warranties and providing good customer service is so important, and Kennedy and Sons has seriously let us down. While the initial installation was okay, the lack of support afterward has been unacceptable. I just hope no one else has to go through this.” report abuse

  “Overall, we were incredibly pleased with the waterproofing service we received. Despite the unexpected need for basement waterproofing, the team really went above and beyond to ensure our home was safe and habitable. They provided us with a fantastic quote from a company specializing in French drain technology, and we were so impressed with their customer service – they were always incredibly responsive and kept us fully updated on the progress. It was particularly reassuring when one of their contractors accidentally damaged our garage lamp; they immediately took care of it by purchasing a new one and installing it themselves! Plus, the lifetime warranty they offered gave us a huge sense of security.   Don Kennedy and Sons did a fantastic job repairing the sagging lintel on my garage door. They diagnosed the problem – the weight of the brick above was causing it to droop – and installed their “Lintel Lift” system, which I found to be the most permanent and attractive solution. The good news is, it was also approved by my 2-10 Warranty company. The installation was quick, completed in under a day, and the finished product looks absolutely perfect. I was really impressed with their professionalism and they left my property spotless. I was really worried about some potential foundation problems and, frankly, hesitant to call around because I’d had trouble finding a contractor I could trust. Someone recommended Kennedy and Sons, and Jason was incredibly professional and knowledgeable from the start. He came out to my house the next morning, even on a Saturday, and immediately started listening to my concerns. Jason was truly the most professional contractor I’ve ever worked with – he took the time to explain everything in detail, and it was clear he really understood what he was talking about.   “We were incredibly worried when we discovered serious foundation issues with our brick home in Huntsville – the settling was significant, and the cracked brick above the garage was a real safety concern. Jeff Kennedy and his team at Kennedy and Sons were fantastic from the start. Jeff spent a lot of time coming out to our home, working with us to understand the problem and find the best solution, all without charging us a dime. We ultimately chose their patented “Lintel Lift” system and some push piers to stabilize the garage. Honestly, we couldn’t be more pleased with the results! As a mechanical engineer, I'm very particular about details, and I have to say, the entire team – especially Eric and Lino, who were just incredible workers – demonstrated a level of skill, dedication, and professionalism that was truly remarkable. Omar, the foreman, was fantastic too. It was clear they were tackling a complex project, dealing with all sorts of challenges like the varying soil conditions, and they did it with such care and expertise.
