  “Honestly, I wouldn't hire them again. We went through a really frustrating week and I’ll definitely be sharing our experience with anyone who asks. The construction workers themselves were excellent, but the owner and crew manager were incredibly disorganized. We brought a major concern to their attention on Wednesday, and it took over a week of constant calls and unanswered messages before they finally addressed it – and even then, it was almost a week after the initial call! Because of this lack of communication and a misdiagnosis of the problem, we ended up paying significantly more than originally estimated. It’s shocking, especially considering we’d heard good things and they were recommended by our realtor. We’ve already moved on to find a different contractor for our other work.” report abuse

  “I was really impressed with Kennedy and Sons – especially Grant. He responded incredibly quickly, arriving within just 30 minutes to inspect my crawl space. He was so honest and straightforward with his assessment, which is something I really appreciated. Honestly, it’s not always easy to find contractors who are truly upfront, and Grant definitely was.   “I’m so sorry to say this, but I would strongly advise against using this company. My daughter and her husband recently spent $20,000 on repairs, and the piers still need adjusting – they haven’t been fixed. To make matters worse, the company has completely stopped responding to their calls and emails, which is incredibly concerning.” report abuse

  “We hired Kennedy and Sons for a mold remediation and foundation assessment, and unfortunately, we were incredibly disappointed with the outcome. Initially, we were pleased with their communication and promptness in scheduling the work. However, upon inspection, it became clear that the mold remediation was not completed properly. Despite a double spray treatment being promised, the mold remained untouched across the entire crawl space – we could easily wipe it away with our fingers. The moisture barrier was partially installed, but not effectively covering the area, and we’ve received no communication or updates since. Now, weeks later, the mold is still present, and we’ve been left with no resolution. They also failed to identify and discuss the need for wood repairs, which we would have gladly paid for. Due to this substandard work and lack of follow-up, I cannot recommend Kennedy and Sons. It was a very frustrating and ultimately unsuccessful experience.” report abuse

  Grant did a fantastic job helping me get my sump pump and French drain installed. He was incredibly responsive, always kept me updated, and took the time to really understand what I wanted. I especially appreciated his help with figuring out the financing – it made the whole process so much smoother. I’m really looking forward to seeing the final result! report abuse

  “After a previous foundation company worked in my basement, I unfortunately started experiencing moisture and efflorescence on the floor. I really needed a second opinion, so I contacted Don Kennedy and Sons. They were fantastic – incredibly knowledgeable and helpful.   “I’m really disappointed with the experience we’ve had with this company. Based on other reviews, I was hoping for a smoother process, but unfortunately, they’ve been disorganized, unreliable, and unprofessional. We received an estimate from Jeff, but when we tried to move forward with the job four months ago, he couldn’t locate it, even after we emailed him a copy.
