  “We had a really close call today while following truck 255 on Winchester Road. He seemed completely disoriented, stopping almost abruptly every time we approached a potential turn, and never used his turn signals. The most alarming moment was when he suddenly braked hard on a sharp curve. We had to brake hard ourselves to avoid a collision. Eventually, he pulled over to consult his GPS, after several attempts to turn.” report abuse

  “Unfortunately, our experience with this company was incredibly frustrating. They insisted on full payment via cashier’s check before scheduling the pour, which felt unnecessarily restrictive. When they arrived, the concrete was completely unusable, and it was clear why – the driver wouldn’t add more water as we’d requested. As a result, we’re now left with having to remove the last portion of the pour.” report abuse

  “I was extremely disappointed with the service we received. There were constant delays – we booked multiple truckloads, only to be told on the day of delivery that we didn’t have enough trucks to meet our needs. The first truck arrived over an hour late, and then we were shocked to find they had no second truck available, despite our reservation. It ultimately arrived almost three and a half hours behind schedule. Worse still, when issues arose, they never contacted us proactively to resolve them; we had to repeatedly reach out to them. Overall, the lack of communication and consistent delays were unacceptable.” report abuse

  I was incredibly frustrated this Saturday, October 5th, around 9:20 AM on High Road in Skyline Acres. I was splashed by a truck – number 182 – while driving past, apparently the driver was cleaning out his troughs and didn’t realize how close he was to the road. Initially, I thought it was just a bit of water, but the stain quickly developed as I drove home. To add insult to injury, the driver seemed to blame *me* for the situation and even spoke to Rodney in dispatch who offered no help or apology at all. Honestly, the whole experience was unacceptable. I definitely won’t be using Alabama Concrete Company for any concrete work in the future. report abuse

  “This was a really disruptive start to the weekend. The crew arrived extremely early – before 6am on a Saturday – and were working on pouring a foundation with a significant amount of noise. It was quite startling for residents in the neighborhood, especially considering how close they were working to houses.” report abuse

  Honestly, I was really disappointed with this company’s work. The concrete they provided was extremely poor quality – it was mostly gravel with very little actual concrete. I wouldn't recommend using their services. report abuse
