  Honestly, I was really disappointed with the work they did on my driveway. The quality was low and the workmanship just wasn’t up to par. They didn’t seem to properly prepare the surface before sealing, and ended up sealing over leaves and other debris – it was very sloppy, especially around the edges, and they just didn’t seem to pay much attention to detail. I wouldn’t recommend using them. report abuse

  John and his crew did a fantastic job with my driveway. They were incredibly professional and polite throughout the whole process. I really appreciated how they listened to my concerns and worked with me to create a plan that perfectly addressed my needs. They were also very mindful of the cost, explaining what wasn't essential and ensuring I wasn’t overspending. The improvements – the drainage, leveling, and raising the height – were brilliant, completely solving the problem with my dog escaping and allowing me to finally get rid of the wooden blocks.   I’m incredibly disappointed with the parking lot installation John Alessi did for us back in May. They opted for a “one pour” method, which I now understand is a fundamentally flawed approach and resulted in a truly terrible job. We weren’t given any choice in the matter, and frankly, it’s clear this was the cheapest possible solution, and it’s completely unacceptable. We had a cookout recently and the chair legs were sinking into the asphalt – it was a really embarrassing situation. Other contractors we consulted confirmed our concerns; the installation was simply done incorrectly. The asphalt remains soft to this day, and we’ll need to rip it up and redo the entire job next year. To add insult to injury, John Alessi has been completely unresponsive, refusing to acknowledge the issue or offer a resolution, even when we’ve suggested contributing extra funds. Given the ongoing problems and his evasive behavior – he’s sent us multiple emails from different addresses and avoids discussing the job via email – I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone. report abuse

  “I’m really disappointed with the quality of the driveway installation. It was completed three months ago, and I’m still seeing tire marks and chair leg marks in the asphalt. There’s also a noticeable soft spot that wasn’t properly finished. Despite being told they’d return to fix these issues, I’ve contacted them multiple times and haven’t received any follow-up.” report abuse

  I’m incredibly disappointed with this experience. The workmanship was shockingly poor – the materials felt cheap, there was evidence of drinking on the job, and the behavior was completely unprofessional, especially with swearing in front of my children. Worse, after promising to correct the issues, he never followed through. To add to my frustration, I’ve heard through the neighborhood that he’s done similar shoddy work on other homes here, and I suspect some of the glowing reviews are influenced by connections.   I’m incredibly disappointed with the work this company did on my driveway. It’s completely uneven, and water is still pooling in several areas – even causing water to actually get onto the driveway itself. They made promises to return and fix the issues, but never followed through. Honestly, the service was terrible, and I’m seriously considering legal action to recover my money. report abuse
