  “Getting our solar project off the ground was a real learning experience! We started in March and knew the first hurdle was getting approval from our Homeowners Association. They hadn’t had any solar policies in place, so we brought in Harvest Energy to present to the board. There was definitely interest, but they needed more information and time to draft a policy. I worked closely with John Blattner at Harvest Energy, and we ultimately chose SunPower panels – we really liked their look and performance. The whole process of navigating permits and regulations took longer than we anticipated, but Harvest Energy kept us in the loop. By August, we’d secured all the necessary approvals, and the HOA had created a solid policy. Once they gave the final go-ahead, the installation was surprisingly quick – just three days! It was great to see the team at Harvest Energy handle everything so efficiently. Honestly, this was a first-of-its-kind project for our neighborhood, so it was a bit of a long road. I want to give a huge thanks to John Blattner and the HOA board members who volunteered their evenings and weekends to make this happen. The Architecture Enforcement Committee chair was especially helpful with crafting the policy language. Now, with the system up and running since October 2nd, I’m incredibly pleased with the results. The SunPower panels look fantastic, and we’re already generating enough electricity to cover over 80% of our usage – which is fantastic!   Harvest Energy Solutions were absolutely fantastic – truly a pleasure to work with. From start to finish, their team took immense pride in their work, and it really showed. They handled every aspect of the installation, from designing the rooftop system for my barns and securing all the necessary permits, to the electrical work, trenching, and even the yard cleanup. My wife was particularly impressed; she commented that it was wonderful to see such a competent and genuinely happy crew. It was a welcome change after a frustrating experience with our previous contractor. What really stood out was their commitment to our satisfaction. Five months after the installation was complete, we were still struggling to get our internet service connected – a common issue in our rural area. Harvest Energy Solutions noticed the poor workmanship and, despite having no direct involvement, they stepped in and personally contacted our internet provider to resolve the problem. They even visited the site to ensure everything was done correctly. Honestly, they went above and beyond, and I highly recommend them if you’re looking for a solar company that cares about quality and customer satisfaction.   “I was really impressed with this company – from John Blattner, my sales person, all the way through to the installation crew. They were incredibly professional and efficient. The initial assessment was by far the most thorough and fast I’ve experienced with any company I contacted. They handled both the installation and the permitting process really quickly. It’s clear they’re focused on farm systems, but they also do a great job with residential installations – their vehicles looked really new and well-equipped.   Overall, the installation team did a really solid job – they were professional and cleaned up thoroughly after themselves. However, I was a little disappointed with the initial performance of the system, leading me to want to add some more panels. Getting the supplies to do that took longer than expected, and it took a few attempts to get someone to sell them to me. While I appreciated their repeated apologies – they were clearly very busy – I was glad they eventually reprogrammed the system for me and continued to be considerate throughout the process. report abuse

  I was really pleased with Harvest Energy – they installed a 10.08kw ground array at my home this year, and I’ve been thrilled with the investment. Ken Zebarah was fantastic throughout the entire process; he was incredibly helpful from the initial contact right through to the finished job.
