David H. was fantastic – he and the builder really understood what we were looking for and created a wonderful, family-focused atmosphere during the whole process. We were moving with two young kids and two dogs, and David was incredibly attentive to all our needs and our timeline. He was always quick to answer our questions and incredibly detail-oriented, with outstanding customer service every step of the way. Because it was a custom ‘spec’ home, we felt completely at home from the start, and any little issues were addressed immediately. It was clear that Dostie’s team valued quality over speed, and we really appreciated their dedication. The communication between everyone was excellent, and we felt like they truly cared about getting the job done right. They really took the time to guide us through every step, and I was especially impressed with the care and attention they put into the final details of our home. JP, in particular, did a wonderful job managing the construction and always made sure we were kept informed and that any concerns were addressed quickly and effectively.   I’m incredibly frustrated and disappointed with Dostie’s handling of our new home build. We’ve been dealing with this for over a year now, and frankly, it’s been a nightmare. They initially estimated a 9-10 month build, but it took nearly 20 months, and our closing was unexpectedly postponed just days before, due to a forgotten gas line. Now, nine months after moving in, we’re still battling a huge list of issues – doors that don’t close properly, materials sitting unused in our garage for months, and a serious flooding problem in the backyard that they refuse to address because we didn’t report it before closing. I’ve been passed off to the contractor repeatedly with no resolution. It's shocking to see how things have changed since their older, glowing reviews. We’re really struggling here, and I desperately need Dostie to step up and finally get things sorted out. report abuse
