  I’m so glad to say that Advantage Homes took great care of me recently. My house was built back in 2016, and just this month, while I was getting my lawn ready for winter, I unfortunately damaged my siding with the lawnmower. I contacted Ryan White, and I was really impressed with how quickly they responded – they pulled up my file and had a new siding ordered and scheduled to be delivered next week! It was such a relief not to have to do any searching myself, and I was particularly touched that they remembered me as a past client and took the time to help me out.   “As the third owner of this Advantage Homes build, we’ve unfortunately run into a lot of issues during our remodeling work. It’s become clear that they didn’t do things correctly, and honestly, I wouldn't have purchased this home knowing they were the original builders. My contractors have been incredibly concerned, many of them saying they’ve never seen anything like this before when starting a remodel.” report abuse

  Overall, our experience with this builder was incredibly frustrating. While the project technically finished within the agreed-upon timeframe, it felt like we were constantly fighting to have our needs met. We had to repeatedly confirm decisions with the management team, and unfortunately, they often went ahead with changes without consulting us. There were some concerning instances, like moving mechanicals without notice and letting propane run in the garage for days before securing the area – a really wasteful practice. Adding to the problem, they seemed to be stepping outside the scope of work, performing tasks that should have been handled by other contractors, and charging us exorbitant prices for materials and labor. We still haven’t received a detailed invoice to understand these charges. It took over a year to complete the repairs identified at closing and during our 60-day inspection, and they’re now refusing to address damage caused by their own crew. Furthermore, we felt dismissed by some members of the management team, who were often rude and condescending. We agreed to the terms of the contract, but it’s clear that many of the issues stemmed from decisions made by the builder’s team. We're hoping they’ll take responsibility and actually address the remaining repairs on our list – it’s been a long and difficult process. report abuse

Doug and Chris were fantastic – so knowledgeable and professional, and they really took the stress out of the whole process. We felt completely comfortable and confident throughout, and we’re so thrilled with our beautiful new home and the family memories we’re making here.
