  Overall, I was incredibly pleased with the team’s work. They tackled everything – the boulder walls, drain boxes, popups, edging, and river rock – with a fantastic skill level and a real eye for detail. What really stood out was how communicative they were; each day they kept me fully updated on their progress and made sure I was happy with the results.   I have to say, I couldn’t be happier with the work [Company Name] did on my backyard. It was the second time I’d hired them, and I wholeheartedly recommend them – they’re just incredible! They really understood my vision and executed it perfectly, from the grading and drain tile to the beautiful landscaping.   “I was really impressed with Final Grade – they did a fantastic job building my retaining wall and concrete patio. Tom and his team made the whole process so easy and stress-free. Honestly, I probably asked a *lot* of questions, being a bit of a DIY guy myself, but they were always patient and incredibly helpful.   “I’m incredibly disappointed with Final Grade. We hired them in fall 2018 to hydro seed our yard, and nothing grew in the spring. They told us we were one of only three customers experiencing this issue, which felt incredibly dismissive. We were promised a re-seed at no extra cost if the initial seeding failed – we even have an email confirming this – but the owner now insists we’re on our own. What really upset us was that the employee assured us it was the perfect time to seed, and then completely backed out of their commitment. To add to the frustration, we spent two days ourselves prepping the yard as they’d said no preparation was needed, and they never returned to re-seed. It feels like they sold us a product that simply didn’t work, and then tried to shift the blame onto us. We ended up losing nearly $2,000, and I wouldn’t recommend them.” report abuse

  “We were incredibly pleased with Final Grade’s work. We had some serious problems with water and rodents, and they quickly developed a solid plan to fix it. They were really responsive and coordinated everything perfectly, making the whole process incredibly smooth and stress-free for us.   Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend using this company for grading and seeding a new lot, especially in a suburban setting. We had a really bad experience – despite spending a few thousand dollars, we still didn’t have any grass. They essentially told us to buy the seed ourselves, which felt completely unhelpful. They haven’t shown any interest in fixing their initial poor work, and frankly, it’s a risky gamble. Unless you’re prepared to do the seeding yourself, I’d steer clear. report abuse

  “We were really disappointed with this company. We had a clear contract for the excavation work, but they significantly overcharged us – 28% more than agreed upon for work that wasn’t included in the contract and hadn’t been pre-approved. When we raised concerns about this overcharge, we were even threatened with a lien on our property.
