Honestly, I couldn’t have a worse experience with a contractor. The engineer we worked with was incredibly dismissive, actually chuckled when I asked him a direct question at a village meeting and suggested I Google it! It was completely unacceptable. They also never bothered to consult with the village council when they changed their plans, like adding steps to accessible businesses, which made ramps impossible. They completely disregarded our property, messing up our yard and even damaging my gas line, and flooded my basement – and they didn’t even bother to reseeds the grass afterward. There was never an apology for any of it. The sidewalk they installed this summer is already cracking. I strongly advise everyone to avoid this company.

“I’m really concerned about my experience with Marcellus Michigan. The staff were consistently dismissive and disrespectful, and there were significant issues with accessibility – it was difficult to access businesses if you were using a mobility device. Honestly, I’d urge anyone considering working with them to do thorough research and, frankly, think twice before investing any money. We have evidence of communication issues with the lead person, and I’m happy to share it if you have any questions.”
-
“I haven’t personally used this location, but I wanted to let others know that it’s currently closed due to construction. They do have another location in Benton Harbor that’s open.”
-
I wouldn’t recommend Wightman – their conduct was quite unprofessional.

“This company really seems to excel in engineering and testing – a solid choice for those needs.”

It was a really pleasant spot.
