  Overall, Fireweed did a good job installing our new 6-foot privacy fence. There were a few delays along the way, but the finished fence looks really nice. I was particularly impressed with their crew – they were very respectful and the workmanship is solid. I’m happy with the result. report abuse

  I was really disappointed with the quality of the Kenai Dog Park fence. It’s concerning to me how much the borough likely spent on this project, and frankly, the workmanship is unacceptable. The gaps in the gates are too large for smaller dogs to avoid, and the fence is so low to the ground that many dogs simply slip underneath, especially during the warmer months. Furthermore, several sections of the fence are poorly constructed and insecure; you could easily push on them and they bend outward, suggesting a lack of proper attachment. I believe the borough should demand a refund due to this incredibly poor and careless construction. It raises serious questions about oversight and could create a significant liability risk for both Fireweed Fence and the borough due to non-compliance with building codes. report abuse

  I was incredibly disappointed with this company. Hiring them to reinforce my fence was a complete disaster – the work was shockingly poor quality and far too expensive. They used my own materials, ignored my specific requests for placement, and were consistently rude and unprofessional. They were consistently late, finished the job incredibly early (around 5pm), and spent the entire time complaining. Honestly, it felt like my son could have done a better job, and I wouldn’t recommend using them at all. I’m buying a new home and definitely won’t be going back. report abuse

  “I was so pleased with Fireweed Fence! I had a fence partially built on my property, and they quickly stepped in to finish it. They assessed the job, and within a week, the entire side was completed – it looks fantastic! It’s wonderful to finally have a fully fenced backyard for the kids to play in, and I’d definitely recommend them.” report abuse

  “Honestly, I’m incredibly disappointed with Fireweed Fence. It felt completely unacceptable to have to chase them down repeatedly just to get a simple fence quote. I provided the money and a clear request for a summer installation, but I was left with no communication. This is the second fence company that hasn’t followed through on the initial prep work, and frankly, it’s frustrating and a complete waste of my time.” report abuse

  I was incredibly disappointed with my experience. I paid a significant sum – five figures – for a fence and electric gate installation, and was promised ongoing maintenance for the gate. The project took a full three months to complete, and when the gate started malfunctioning, it was far worse than anticipated. The owner became immediately hostile, accusing me of wasting his time and ultimately hung up on me. He hasn’t returned since, and I would absolutely not recommend doing business with him. report abuse
