  “We’ve been incredibly happy with Creative Solar – they’ve done three separate solar installations for us over the years, starting back in 2010. We initially had a 5.5KW system installed at our home, then upgraded in 2018 to 8.1KW with a battery, and most recently, they handled the installation for our new construction in 2020 with 12KW panels and two 13.5KW/h batteries. Throughout all three projects, they’ve provided a truly top-quality service, from the initial design and engineering to the final installation. They handled all the paperwork for tax relief and worked seamlessly with the power company.   Gustavo and Creative Solar, USA were fantastic – they really walked us through the whole solar installation process and delivered a beautiful system. We’ve been incredibly impressed with their service, and our power bill has dropped to just $17 a month. Plus, they’ve been proactive in working to improve net metering access through the PSC, which we really appreciate.   “I’m incredibly disappointed with my experience working with this company. From the very beginning, the customer service was shockingly poor. It seemed like there was constant turnover, and when employees left, there was no system in place to ensure a smooth handover – my emails and voicemails went unanswered. They consistently deflected responsibility, blaming other companies for problems that were clearly their own. They repeatedly missed deadlines, failed to fulfill scheduled appointments like my solar installation, and, shockingly, haven’t even followed up on my system weeks after it was supposed to be operational. It’s frustrating to realize that they make it difficult to contact them, yet they haven't bothered to communicate at all. Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend this company based on my experience. I wish I had gone with a more established company, even if it meant hiring someone further away, because the level of professionalism was simply unacceptable.” report abuse

  “Overall, the company’s expertise in solar power concepts was good, but the installation itself was really disappointing. We experienced some serious issues – initially, there was damage to our ceiling due to a leak caused by a poorly sealed bolt hole left by the electrician. Now, the system is completely inoperable because squirrels got to the exposed wires on the roof. It’s clear the installers weren’t properly trained on best practices, particularly regarding running wires through conduit.” report abuse

  “I can’t recommend hiring this company. We experienced a really frustrating situation when we hired them to remove and install an existing system. Initially, they seemed competent, but after paying the full invoice, they completely stopped responding – no schedule dates were provided and they haven’t returned any of our calls. The owner and the office staff were unhelpful, and even the installation manager just left all our messages as read. It felt like they just took our money and disappeared.” report abuse

  Overall, I was really impressed with the Solarize Carrollton campaign and Creative Solar. Knowing they’d been reviewed by Carroll EMC and Southwire gave me a good sense of their reliability. But honestly, I was pleasantly surprised by their professionalism – they were incredibly attentive to detail and took the time to understand exactly what I wanted, providing a clear and accurate estimate. My salesperson, Chaia Lewis, was fantastic; she was so helpful in explaining everything and always went the extra mile to get answers. I feel really good about supporting the environment in a way that’s manageable for my budget, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. report abuse
