  “We were so thrilled with the work Holm and Olson did on our backyard! We had a big project – replacing a crumbling, unsightly retaining wall that was 8 feet tall. We initially came across them at the Home and Garden Show and Jack followed up with us afterwards. Out of several companies, we felt really confident with Holm and Olson. Jack was a fantastic designer and project manager, and we absolutely love the beautiful new backyard he helped us create. The split wall really opened up our patio and backyard space, and the landscaping – with all the colorful bushes and blooming plants – is just stunning.   Holm & Olson really stood out to me when I was getting quotes. Their price was incredibly reasonable, and what impressed me most was their genuine care – they were really helpful and supportive during a time when I was feeling a bit vulnerable.   Honestly, I’d been so excited to work with Holm and Olson after hearing such great things about their work. I actually arranged for them to come to my home and create a design and a quote for a water and fire feature I wanted for the Minneapolis Home and Garden Show. I had a visit from a designer a few months back, and they gave me a pretty basic, hand-drawn sketch on some used graph paper. Since then, I’ve been trying to get in touch – leaving voicemails and sending emails – but I’ve heard absolutely nothing back. We were really looking forward to having this feature installed this summer, but it seems like our smaller landscaping project just wasn’t worth their time, and I’m incredibly disappointed with the lack of communication and their apparent lack of follow-through.” report abuse
