  “I was really struggling with the crawlspace under my house – it was just a dirty, cluttered dirt floor, and it was impossible for me to get to the lights or plumbing. I needed it cleaned up and properly covered, and I got a few quotes. Basement Gurus came in significantly lower than the others, and Josh, the guy I spoke with, was just really down-to-earth and honest. I felt completely confident he’d do a great job, and his crew worked incredibly hard – they were so willing to help with anything I needed. The difference after they finished was amazing! It’s now so clean and accessible, I don’t feel like I’m crawling through a coal mine anymore. I was also really impressed that they fixed a small crack in one of the cinder block walls for just $1,000 – another company was quoting over $6,000 and wanted to drill down to bedrock! It just didn't seem reasonable. Josh explained that the footers were doing the job, and honestly, you don't need to overcomplicate things. What really sealed the deal for me was that Josh didn’t ask for a deposit. I only paid when I was totally satisfied with the work, which is exactly how I like to do business with contractors.   Honestly, we weren’t very impressed with Basement Gurus. We tried repeatedly to get a quote – at least six times by phone and email – but we kept getting these frustratingly vague answers about the vice president being unavailable.   I can’t recommend Basement Gurus enough! My grandpa had been battling a persistent water problem in his basement for years, and it was becoming increasingly difficult for him to manage on his own. When we contacted them, Josh was fantastic – so professional and helpful, we knew right away they were the team to call. Dylan and his team were incredible too – incredibly hardworking and respectful, and they took such good care of all of my grandpa’s belongings while they were working.
