  Jared and New Peak really went above and beyond for us. We were facing a tough problem with our concrete and honestly, we felt completely lost. But Jared took the time to personally meet with us, and he handled the entire situation with such genuine care and professionalism – it was truly remarkable. It wasn’t even required of him, but he took the initiative to make things right, and that kind of integrity is something you don’t always find.   “Our experience with New Peak was incredibly frustrating and, frankly, a complete disaster. We started the build in April 2021, with a promised completion date of the end of December. Despite anticipating some delays, we maintained regular contact with our assigned builder, who did a commendable job navigating the numerous challenges. However, as time went on, progress stalled. New Peak was building houses all around us, yet our own project remained untouched. When closing on our old house approached in June, New Peak assured us they’d have the house ready. Unfortunately, two days before the closing date, they informed us the build wouldn’t be finished and gave us a vague estimate of 1-3 weeks. This left us homeless for three weeks with absolutely no apology or attempt to compensate us. They offered a paltry $700 check, which we never received. The quality of the work was also shockingly poor. We discovered a chipped foundation, uneven carpet, a miscut door frame, and a massive gap above the door – just to name a few issues. To add insult to injury, the final walk-through revealed damage to the siding. Even basic things, like the refrigerator not being turned on and a broken fridge door, were completely ignored. Throughout the entire process, communication was abysmal. They repeatedly passed us off to other people, failed to meet deadlines, and showed no genuine concern for our situation. It was clear they considered our project a low priority. We ended up with a ruined building experience and a dream home turned into a nightmare. If you’re considering working with New Peak, I strongly advise having a very strict contract in place to protect your interests—because they clearly don't have your best interests at heart.” report abuse

  Overall, we had a fantastic experience building our home with Newpeak. They really took the time to understand our family’s needs and worked with us closely on the design and choosing the right products – it truly resulted in a wonderful home. While we did experience some delays due to COVID and other factors, Newpeak kept us informed every step of the way and we were able to collaboratively work through the extended timeline. I personally found it really valuable to stay involved in the project, and I’d definitely suggest that to anyone considering building. They were always available to show us around the site or answer any questions we had, and they’ve been incredibly responsive when we’ve identified a few minor issues along the way. We absolutely love our new home – it feels so thoughtfully designed and put together, and we’re so happy to be part of the Newpeak family.
