  “My wife and I were so pleased with Builders Design Group when we renovated our new home in Las Vegas. We weren’t thrilled with the original carpet and linoleum, and a friend suggested we contact them – they’d had a fantastic experience updating the floors in their fixer-upper. The showroom was really well-organized and the staff were incredibly helpful, patiently guiding us through choosing the right upgrades for our carpet and laminate floors. They brought out tons of samples, and I went back to the house several times to make sure everything looked perfect. The installation crew were fantastic – fast, efficient, and they left the place spotless. The only small thing was a little crease in the carpet that popped up during our final walkthrough, but I brought it to the team’s attention, and they quickly sent someone out to fix it to my complete satisfaction.   “I recently had new flooring installed in my home through BDG, and I couldn’t be happier with the whole experience. Their showroom was fantastic, and the team was so patient and helpful as my wife and I went through the selection process – we spent quite a bit of time debating different styles, but we finally found a gorgeous wood laminate that looks absolutely incredible – it’s so realistic, you’d never know it wasn’t real wood! The installation was flawless, and honestly, everyone who’s come to see the house has been blown away by how beautiful the floors look. It’s been a joy for me to have them every day. BDG really took the stress out of choosing a new flooring, and I felt completely confident in my decision.   I’m incredibly disappointed with the tile work this subcontractor did for my home. They were contracted through my builder, and the quality of their work is severely lacking. I’m experiencing cracking tiles and grout throughout my entire house, and the floating process was done terribly. I’ve made multiple attempts to contact them to discuss repairs, but they haven’t returned my calls. My builder has also informed me that the issues aren’t covered under warranty. Considering I spent over $50,000 on this project – including flooring for approximately 4,000 square feet and four showers – this is completely unacceptable. A flooring inspection company confirmed my worst fears: the entire floor and bathrooms need to be redone. It’s clear the work is beyond repair. They essentially took my money ($50,000) and haven't responded to my concerns. I’m seriously considering pursuing a construction defect claim, and I strongly advise others to avoid using this company. report abuse
