  We were absolutely thrilled with our experience working with Pools R Us!   “I honestly couldn’t be happier with the service I received from Pool R US. Ben was fantastic – he really took the time to understand our design ideas and was incredibly responsive throughout the whole process. Greg was always there to answer any questions we had, and they were consistently on time and willing to make adjustments as needed. While we ultimately decided not to move forward with our project, I wanted to express just how impressed I was with their dedication and customer service.   Overall, our experience with this pool company was really frustrating and fell far short of what we expected. There were some positive aspects – the pool itself looks great, and Ben and Chuck were pleasant enough. However, the project was plagued by significant delays, starting with a nearly nine-month timeline from contract signing to final inspection. Adding to the stress, the HOA approval process took an extra two months. The biggest issue was a complete lack of communication during construction. We were constantly left in the dark about delays and didn’t know when the crew would be working. There were even concerning incidents, like someone drinking beer on our patio over the weekend. We eventually discovered the salt cell wasn't installed until the spring of 2022, and obtaining the structural warranty has been incredibly difficult – requiring a lengthy inspection process that was often weeks out and pushed back repeatedly. When we tried to initiate the warranty transfer, the company initially refused, citing issues with subcontractors, despite the fact that we had already closed on our house. It felt like they were deliberately trying to avoid responsibility. Frankly, it felt like they were more concerned with their own convenience than with our satisfaction as customers.   “I was so frustrated with my pool and really needed someone to figure out what was going on. Melissa was fantastic – she came out quickly, even after her workday was done, and pinpointed the problem almost immediately! It was amazing how quickly she diagnosed it. Honestly, it’s such a relief to have a company that’s truly invested in their customers and doesn’t just go through the motions.   “I hired someone to build my pool back in 2018, but unfortunately, they weren’t licensed and the project sat unfinished for over a year. I was really hesitant to call anyone else, worried about liability issues with an incomplete job. But I reached out to Pools “R” Us LLC, and Greg, the owner, was fantastic. We initially got quotes from six companies, but Greg from PRU really stood out. His experience, responsiveness, and ability to come up with creative solutions to our project’s challenges were fantastic. Plus, he offered the best price! He really listened to our ideas and then took it a step further, suggesting amazing additions like water features and incorporating the latest technology into both the pool and the spa. Working with him and his construction manager, Chuck, was a pleasure – they used top-notch subcontractors who were always professional, on time, and incredibly knowledgeable.   Overall, I was really pleased with Pools “R” Us. They did an amazing job turning my backyard into the dream I’d always envisioned. They were great at keeping me informed throughout the whole process, reminding me that construction projects can be challenging, and really helped me stay focused on the final result. Importantly, the price they quoted at the beginning stayed consistent, and the quality of their work was outstanding.   “My wife and I decided to take the plunge and build a pool, rather than move, and I was a little apprehensive after hearing so many stories about difficult pool builders. Thankfully, we chose Pools r us, and it was a fantastic experience. One of the designers, Butch, was particularly reassuring – he really calmed my nerves and made sure everything went smoothly. The whole project took about three months and one week, which was mostly due to a slight delay in ordering the tiles, but overall, we’re incredibly happy with the result.
