  “We’ve had two contractors working on rebuilding our property after the storm over the last nine months, and the experience was quite different with each. Unfortunately, the first company had to completely dismantle the original structure, and they weren’t proactive about getting the necessary documentation – they didn’t even engage an engineering firm for the WPI8. It was a frustrating situation, and they wouldn’t bring in anyone to assess the roof. However, everything changed when we contacted Norex and had Fred come out. He was fantastic! He really stepped in to manage the contractors, was incredibly knowledgeable about the whole process, and kept us – my fiancé and me – fully updated every step of the way.   “I’ve been really frustrated with my experience dealing with Norex after purchasing a property with their WPI certificate. I’ve been trying to get things moving for the last six weeks, calling almost daily, but I haven’t gotten a single return call or any updates. I was recently told the file was with the engineer, which was two weeks ago, and still haven’t heard anything. Honestly, it’s left me with no options – I’m stuck between not having windstorm insurance and starting the whole process over with a different engineer. It’s been a huge headache, and I’m so disappointed with the lack of communication and support. I always try to support local businesses, but this has been incredibly difficult.” report abuse
