  I had a really frustrating experience with this company today. I reported a problem with my garage door through their website this morning, providing all the necessary details. However, I didn’t hear back from them at all. I called again this afternoon at 4:30, and the person who answered just said “Hello” – it felt incredibly unprofessional. They were completely unable to understand my issue and I had to essentially explain the problem to them. They then offered to replace a horizontal strut for around $190 without providing any kind of estimate or further explanation. I mentioned a couple of other potential issues and received absolutely no response. It felt like I was talking to someone who was just filling in, and frankly, I was left feeling very unimpressed with the company. report abuse

  I had a really positive experience with Michigan Door Maintenance. My garage door springs broke, and I contacted several companies, but their prices were shockingly high – especially the ones you see on TV. Tom at Michigan Door Maintenance was fantastic – he was so knowledgeable, polite, and, most importantly, honest about the job and the price. They were able to schedule someone to come out and fix it the same day, and I couldn’t be happier with the whole process, from start to finish.
