  Dustin and his crew did an outstanding job building our modular home back in 2000, even with the challenges posed by COVID. We were really impressed with their professionalism and how smoothly things went overall. Communication could have been a little better, but that’s something we’ve all found we need to work on these days. Recently, we discovered a leak in our master bedroom ceiling, and it turned out to be a roof issue. Because our home was only covered by a one-year warranty, we contacted Dustin to see if there were any options. To our relief, he and his crew stepped in without hesitation, not only fixing the roof but also repairing the ceiling. It was truly above and beyond, and we couldn't have asked for better service. We wholeheartedly recommend Dustin and Lifestyle Homes – they really went the extra mile. report abuse

  Overall, we had an absolutely fantastic experience building our new home with Lifestyle Homes and Dustin and his crew. From the initial demolition to the first night in our new Danbury 2, the whole process was incredibly smooth – just 56 days! For a family of five, that’s a huge relief and a testament to their efficiency. We’ve now been living in our new home for two years coming up this fall, and it’s been absolutely wonderful for our family. I especially want to commend Dustin and the team for their continued support, even after the warranty period ended; they’ve been so helpful stopping by when they’re in the area to take care of a few minor issues. Dustin has also been fantastic about incorporating my feedback, like adding an outlet in the laundry room – a really thoughtful touch that’s made a big difference.   I am incredibly disappointed with the entire experience we had. It took nearly two years to complete the work, and throughout that time, Jon and Dustin were consistently unresponsive – they rarely returned calls, messages, or emails, often taking a month or more to get back to us. The quality of the work was shockingly poor; we found lumps in the carpet that required us to manually break up with a hammer, and there were cuts in the flooring simply covered with glue. The detailing was terrible too, with staples sticking through the carpet edges and poor workmanship on the siding and roofing. Jon and Dustin never visited the site to address our concerns, instead always blaming the workers. We even had to complete much of the cleanup ourselves. The shed they built didn’t match the house and had gaps, and they bypassed the required wrap before applying foam instead of siding. The landscaping was left a complete disaster, and they used substandard materials for the porch. Honestly, it’s just a long list of problems. This experience caused my husband significant distress due to his medical anxiety, and we were ultimately overcharged for the extended delays and rising costs. I cannot, in good conscience, recommend this company to anyone. report abuse

  Overall, we’ve been really pleased with our experience so far. Living in the home for the past three months has been fantastic – everyone has been so helpful and informative throughout the buying process. We were particularly impressed with the quality of the home and the range of customization options available. Even after delivery, the team has continued to be prompt and supportive with our questions, and the service technician has done a great job addressing the little settling issues we’ve encountered.   Dustin and the whole team at Lifestyle Homes were fantastic! We’ve been enjoying our manufactured home for almost six months now, and we couldn’t be happier with the whole experience. It was really reassuring to have such thorough documentation and consistent follow-up, especially given the challenges we were facing with supply chains and the weather – it really helped keep everything running smoothly.   Honestly, we had a really difficult experience with the cement contractor Lifestyle Homes used. They made a huge number of mistakes that completely ruined our sidewalks and garage floor, and unfortunately, Lifestyle Homes didn’t seem to care about fixing the problem. We also had issues with cheap fixtures – our sinks broke within the first year, and other replacements were needed very quickly. Overall, we wouldn’t recommend using this contractor. report abuse

We especially appreciated not feeling any pressure to make a decision, and we definitely plan to return when we’re ready.
