  I am incredibly disappointed with this company’s work and their handling of the situation. We hired them for foundation repairs, and their advice – simply supporting the central beam – proved disastrous. As a direct result, our kitchen floor has sunk 1.5 inches, causing significant further damage to our home. The windows now wobble due to the shifting, and we’ve been unable to use our kitchen for nearly two and a half months, being instructed not to walk on the floor for fear of causing more damage. We’ve repeatedly requested compensation for the added repairs and a refund of our deposit, but they’ve ignored our requests and haven’t even scheduled any follow-up work. To make matters worse, they didn't conduct an inspection while working and failed to obtain the necessary permits. This company has caused substantial damage to our home and provided absolutely no support in resolving the issue. I strongly advise against using this company for any foundation work – it's simply unacceptable. report abuse

  I was really hoping for a thorough and professional evaluation of my basement, but unfortunately, the experience felt more like a sales pitch than a genuine inspection. The appointment was primarily spent listening to a polished presentation, and very little time was dedicated to actually examining the issues. Clear signs of water damage – severely damaged window sills and wall cracks with staining – were completely overlooked. Despite these obvious problems, the inspector, Clay, immediately diagnosed hydrostatic pressure and pushed for a full basement waterproofing system. When I questioned the severity of the issue and potential solutions, I felt like he was hesitant and unwilling to offer a clear answer. Instead of explaining a tailored approach based on the specific problems, he simply recommended the expensive system. To get a second opinion, I brought in two other licensed professionals, and they both independently confirmed that the issue wasn't hydrostatic pressure. They carefully assessed the cracks and staining, explaining how water was entering through poorly sealed windows and cracks—problems that a basement waterproofing system wouldn't fix. They offered much more affordable solutions that directly addressed the source of the water. Adding to my concerns, when I raised my questions, the company, specifically Roger, defended their recommendation by dismissing other companies as simply doing “patch work.” It felt dismissive and confusing, especially considering the other professionals’ expert opinions. It was frustrating to hear that addressing the symptoms wouldn’t work when the root cause was so clear. Because of these concerns, I ultimately didn’t hire this company. I strongly recommend getting multiple inspections and comparing diagnoses and prices – don't just go with the first recommendation. I also wanted to note that the company mentioned a requirement for a sump pump in Westland, but I couldn’t verify this through official channels. Ultimately, the whole experience left me disappointed, and I believe it's crucial to prioritize getting a truly honest and accurate assessment before investing in any repairs. report abuse

  Joe was absolutely fantastic throughout the entire inspection process. We really appreciated his professionalism and how patient he was with all of our questions – he even spent a solid four hours with us, and we ended up laughing the whole time!   Overall, I was incredibly impressed with the service I received. Marc was fantastic – he really took the time to understand my needs and provided me with several quotes, making the decision-making process so much easier. But beyond Marc, I also want to commend Miguel, Noel, and Demarie for the amazing work they did on the construction project itself. They were incredibly efficient and friendly, getting right to work on day one, including clearing out the old debris and handling the necessary structural repairs. On the second day, they tackled the insulation and crawl space, which has already made a huge difference for my allergies, and they even proactively addressed a water issue with a temporary fix until a plumber could arrive.   “Clay was absolutely fantastic – truly a standout inspector. He went above and beyond, taking a really detailed look at our foundation, basement, and crawl space, and honestly, it was the most thorough evaluation we’ve ever had. We’ve had some difficult experiences with other companies, so we really appreciated his respectful and caring approach. He wasn’t at all pushy and patiently answered all of our questions, never making us feel rushed or like we were asking silly things. He even took the time to show us pictures and measurements to explain his findings, which gave us a lot of confidence in his recommendations.   Dan and his team – Quentin, Aaron, and Aaron – did an absolutely fantastic job. They were incredibly reliable, arriving on time and working tirelessly throughout the entire project. Everyone was so respectful and professional, and they really gelled as a team. Dan was fantastic at answering any questions we had, and thankfully, they passed inspection with flying colors.   “I’m disappointed with the experience I had when my backup system battery started malfunctioning. I’d invested over $20,000 in the system in 2021, and while the technician who came to my home was excellent, the process of getting the battery replaced was incredibly frustrating and poorly handled. Initially, I was told a $200 maintenance call would include a battery replacement, but the technician then informed me it would be an additional $600 fee. This led to a six-week ordeal involving multiple calls, a service manager contacted only via text, and ultimately, no resolution. It’s unfortunate that it took a negative online review to prompt action, and I expected more proactive support from a company with my investment.” report abuse
