  Matt was absolutely fantastic to work with – truly a pleasure! He was so collaborative and really took the time to completely redesign our home, even going above and beyond by working weekends to ensure we met our deadlines. He’s incredibly talented and provided amazing value. We’ve actually recommended him to our neighbors, and they had him remodel their entire home, inside and out, and they were incredibly happy with the results. What really stood out was his honesty and willingness to adapt during the construction process; he wasn't afraid to make changes when needed, and unlike some contractors, he was always upfront and transparent about his skills. Plus, all the subcontractors he used were professional, courteous, and clearly experts in their fields.   Matt and his crew did an absolutely fantastic job transforming our back porch into a beautiful sunroom.   Matt and DC Builders have been absolutely fantastic to work with. He’s tackled several projects for us – from building stairs on our deck and replacing our french doors to completely remodeling both bathrooms. Seriously, his attention to detail is incredible, and the quality of his work is outstanding. We even had a small issue crop up in one of the bathrooms, and he was so responsive and quick to come back and fix it.   Matt and his team did an absolutely fantastic job for us. We’ve been really pleased with everything he’s done, and the quality of his work is outstanding. I especially appreciated his responsiveness – when I had some concerns about the height of a railing he installed, he quickly adjusted it to my specifications. But the absolute best was when he removed an interior wall in our dining room; it completely transformed our home and made it feel so much bigger!   I had Matt from this company come out to assess an addition for my house, and unfortunately, the experience was really disappointing. He was professional, took detailed measurements and photos, and seemed genuinely interested in our ideas. He promised an estimate within a couple of weeks, but it’s now been three months and I still haven’t received anything. I followed up several times, and while he assured me an estimate would be sent the next week, it never arrived. It feels like he was just stalling, and that’s a really frustrating way to conduct business. Because of this lack of communication and the complete absence of an estimate, I wouldn’t recommend this company and I certainly wouldn’t give them a positive rating. I wanted to share my experience to help others make informed decisions when choosing a contractor. report abuse
