  Home Front Build truly exceeded our expectations. We hired them to add a roughly 300 square foot extension to our house over the past two years, which involved a complete overhaul including the foundation, plumbing, and HVAC. What really stood out was their responsiveness and willingness to adapt – they were fantastic at incorporating our changes and even added a retaining wall and re-stuccoed the house as needed. Goli’s design work was exceptional, and her experience was invaluable in anticipating and resolving potential issues. Eduardo, our on-site contractor, was brilliant at coordinating with all the subcontractors and ensuring everything ran smoothly. The only slight frustration we experienced was the final 10% of the project taking a considerable amount of time to complete. While most of the work moved quickly and consistently, that last phase dragged on for months, which was a bit tiring to manage. Despite that, we're incredibly pleased with the overall quality of work, communication, and the entire team at Home Front Build, and we wholeheartedly recommend them! report abuse

  “Working with Home Front on my kitchen and master bath remodel was a truly exceptional experience. My 90-year-old Spanish-style home had fantastic original construction, and I really wanted to preserve that while still getting a modern update. Of course, the pandemic threw a wrench into things, and we had a two-year delay, which they handled with incredible patience and creativity as we adjusted our plans. Because I was living in the house during the remodel, sticking to the schedule and keeping things tidy were absolutely essential. They consistently delivered on all fronts, and I couldn’t have asked for better. What really sets Home Front apart is their onsite foreman – it was a game-changer. Having one dedicated person managing the day-to-day, coordinating the subcontractors, and keeping everything clean and secure made the whole process so much smoother and less stressful. I always knew I had an expert to turn to with any questions. They stand behind their work, and you could tell – they never questioned a request, and even months after the remodel was finished, they were still happy to address a few small things.   “I couldn’t be happier with the work Home Front Build did on my home. It’s a beautiful, historic craftsman house – a real gem – but it needed some serious TLC. I went through a lot of builders, and from the start, Steve and Sam just *got* it. They immediately understood the unique character of the house and what was needed to bring it back to life. The whole team was fantastic – from Steve and Sam’s expertise in guiding me through the decisions, to Juan and his crew who were consistently professional, showing up every day and keeping the site spotless. And on the administrative side, Miguel and Anthony were incredibly helpful, keeping me fully informed about the costs and all the paperwork. Honestly, it was a pleasure working with the entire group.   Overall, we were really pleased with Home Front Build – especially with Goli. The initial cost was a concern, it’s certainly a pricey time to be renovating, but we ultimately decided to go ahead with the project because of Goli’s fantastic attitude and how knowledgeable she was. Adriana was also great to work with. What really stood out was their attention to detail; both Goli and Adriana went above and beyond to ensure everything was exactly how we wanted it. They were quick to fix any issues brought up by the subcontractors, which gave us a lot of confidence that the job would be done right and on schedule.   I couldn’t be happier with the work Home Front Build did on my remodel. From start to finish, the whole team was fantastic – incredibly professional, experienced, and genuinely positive. I especially want to highlight Goli Karimi, the Design Director. She was absolutely brilliant, really understanding my vision and offering fantastic creative guidance while keeping things practical. Her knowledge of materials and design trends was top-notch, and she was just a pleasure to work with. And Lynn Kolberg, the project manager, deserves a huge thank you too. She kept everything running smoothly, communicating clearly and effectively, and expertly coordinating the whole construction team. She was a fantastic problem-solver and always resourceful. Honestly, the rest of the Home Front Build team were all incredibly skilled and produced outstanding quality work. It was a complete surprise to me taking on a remodel, but thanks to them, the entire experience was actually quite exciting and positive. They really work well together, and that’s clearly key to their success.   Honestly, we couldn’t be happier with the work Home Front did on our Victorian home. They completely transformed it, expertly restoring our stone walls and even rebuilt our window sashes using historic salvage lumber – it looks absolutely original thanks to the way they applied the paint. They were brilliant at incorporating a modern foundation discreetly, allowing us to keep our beautiful original stone foundation as a focal point. The attention to detail, especially matching the stucco and stone finishes inside and out, was incredible. But beyond the quality of the work, the entire crew was just fantastic – friendly, professional, and really good at listening to our ideas while keeping us on budget.
