  “Dealing with ETO Doors during the construction of my new home was an incredibly frustrating experience. My doors were delivered two months past the agreed-upon deadline, and unfortunately, the issues with their quality became apparent six months later – as you can see in the attached photos after professional sealing and painting. When I brought these problems to their attention, they refused to replace the doors, offering only a $1,800 discount on new ones costing over $4,000. I had to hire a lawyer, but the terms of their warranty are so convoluted that I feel completely stuck with the situation. I’m seriously considering visiting their offices in Los Angeles or Las Vegas on a future business trip to discuss this further.” report abuse

  “My experience with ETO was really disappointing. From the outset, they were very eager to get the business, but once I raised a concern, I received absolutely no follow-up. We received damaged doors upon delivery, and while they quickly accepted a repair offer, I never actually received the payment. I contacted them repeatedly about this, but they remained completely unresponsive. Beyond the delivery issues, the doors themselves were poorly made – a slab door with noticeable waves. Their warranty is incredibly restrictive and seems designed to avoid paying out on legitimate claims. To make matters worse, my door started failing after just being stored in my garage and then professionally installed and painted within a month. Now, after only two months, the French door is failing at the joints and the stiles are cracking. Honestly, the whole product seems very low quality. I would strongly advise anyone considering ETO to think twice.” report abuse

  “I can’t recommend this company at all. The experience was incredibly frustrating. We waited weeks to get in touch about our order, and the communication was practically non-existent. To make matters worse, the door arrived with a completely unfinished bolt side – it was shocking quality. There was also a deep scratch directly on the front of the door, right where you’d expect to see the viewing window. We were left completely speechless. Honestly, the quality was shockingly poor, and we felt completely ignored. I’m seriously considering finding a different manufacturer who actually delivers on their promises.   I’m incredibly disappointed with my experience with this company. We bought three exterior doors and unfortunately, all three have developed leaks – they’re clearly poorly constructed. Worse still, the company refuses to stand behind their product, and after seven months of persistent communication through phone, email, and every other method, we’re still without a resolution or refund for the doors themselves. This has caused significant damage to our wood floors, and it’s been a truly frustrating and unresponsive process. If you’re considering purchasing exterior doors, especially if you’re not located in California, I strongly recommend exploring options with a larger, nationally recognized manufacturer like Kolbe or Pella – companies with local showrooms and responsive customer service. report abuse
