  Seriously, avoid this company at all costs. Based on countless negative reviews, they’re an absolute nightmare. They completely lack any real customer service – ignoring emails and texts, and when they do respond, it’s just empty promises. I wish I’d listened to the warnings and gone with a reputable business instead. The owner, Dave, is clearly dishonest and delivers nothing he promises. I’m currently dealing with a faulty door and it’s been a three-month battle with him, resulting in absolutely no resolution. It's a terrible experience, and I urge anyone considering this company to find a different provider with reliable service. report abuse

  I’m incredibly disappointed with HDW Doors. I purchased a new door for $7,400, and it’s completely unusable – it doesn’t even function properly. I’ve contacted them repeatedly, but they’ve refused to send someone to repair it. It’s unacceptable that they’re not taking responsibility for a faulty, expensive product. More recently, they offered a phone number to resolve the issue, but that number doesn't work and just goes straight to voicemail. It feels like a deliberate attempt to avoid fixing the problem, and frankly, it’s a scam. I’m extremely frustrated with their lack of communication and unwillingness to stand behind their product. I remain dissatisfied until they actually take action and get this door working. report abuse

  “I’m incredibly disappointed with this experience. We’ve been waiting for a door for nearly two years now and have essentially been passed around without any resolution. We invested $12,000 and received nothing but delays – David repeatedly told us the door had been shipped, then was on hold due to manufacturer issues. We have documented everything with our invoices, receipts, emails, and texts, and I’ve attached photos showing the previous review and David’s response. While he offered a refund, he’s refused to honor it. It’s truly disheartening to see a company treat customers this way.” report abuse

  “I’m really pleased with the aluminum sliding door I had installed – it’s exactly what I was hoping for. The installers were fantastic; they were punctual and professional, and they took great care when installing the door, ensuring it fit perfectly. It’s so smooth to operate and lets in a wonderful amount of natural light, which has really brightened up my living room. And because it’s easy to clean and maintain, that’s a big bonus for me.   “I’m really frustrated with this whole experience. The doors were initially supposed to arrive over five weeks ago, and they finally showed up two and a half weeks later, delivered to the wrong place! Then, the lock was broken, and it’s taken another two weeks to get a replacement door handle sent out. I’ve spoken to multiple people – the sales office and now Mr. David Ho from the warehouse – but I still don’t have a tracking number and no guarantee that the parts are actually on their way. While I understand the original lock issue wasn’t directly their fault, the lack of communication and the extended delays have been incredibly poor customer service.” report abuse

David took the time to explain the whole process to me, and he was genuinely invested in making sure I was happy with the results.   I’m incredibly disappointed with my experience with HDW Doors. I ordered a bifold door on February 3rd, 2025, and it finally arrived on February 20th – a huge delay. To make matters worse, I specifically asked for a low-track frame, but they initially sent the completely wrong size, then later told me it couldn't be done despite having it in stock. Now, four months later, I’ve been met with nothing but delays, broken promises, and a complete lack of communication. They’ve essentially ignored my requests and left me stranded, seriously impacting the opening of my business.
