  I’m incredibly frustrated and disappointed with my experience with this company. It became painfully clear to me just how deceptive and unprofessional they were. After repeated lies and delays – it took two months to actually speak with someone who could help – they attempted to minimize my claim with ridiculous bureaucratic tactics. I was essentially treated as an employee rather than a customer, and the whole situation felt incredibly insulting. To add to the problem, I was offered a shockingly low amount for my car, and they continued to string me along with false promises. I ended up paying over $1000 in fees, and frankly, it was a terrible ordeal. I truly hope they understand the distress they caused me. report abuse

  “I’ve been a customer with The General for about a year now, since November 7th, 2024, and I was paying $193 a month. However, on November 8th, my rate jumped to $234 – and when I asked why, I was told it was due to a statewide increase in insurance rates. Frankly, I found that explanation incredibly frustrating, especially since I have a clean driving record with no tickets or claims. To see my rate increase by 25% feels completely unfair and dishonest. I won’t be doing business with The General again; it’s clear they’re not being upfront about their pricing.” report abuse

  I’m incredibly disappointed with my recent experience. I’ve been a loyal customer for the past seven years, but their handling of my insurance cancellation was completely unacceptable. They refused to process a refund for the remaining portion of my billing cycle, and didn’t clearly disclose any potential fees beforehand. Because of this, I’ll be taking my business elsewhere and have also filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. report abuse
