Okay, here’s a natural-sounding evaluation based on the text: “I hired this company back in the fall of 2019, outlining my vision for addition plans and a remodel. They initially quoted me a range of $1000 to $2000 for the plans, and we agreed to start the work in 2020. However, just before starting, in January 2020, the owner unexpectedly informed me that he no longer wanted to work with me, having already charged me $2000 for the plans. This happened with very little notice, and frankly, felt incredibly unprofessional. To add to the frustration, while they were working in my home, they damaged a handmade tile and didn’t offer any compensation for the damage.”
