  Overall, I’ve been really impressed with the work Ludlow Construction has been doing on Main Street. I’ve been living nearby and it’s been fascinating to watch their team go about replacing the main water line – they’ve been incredibly organized and professional. Everyone I’ve spoken to, from the supervisors to the equipment operators, has been friendly, helpful, and really knowledgeable, always answering my questions clearly. Yes, there’s been some disruption with the lane closures, which is unavoidable with a project like this, but it's clear they've done a good job managing the situation. It’s reassuring to see how close the project is to completion and the quality of the work – it’s obvious Ludlow Construction knows what they’re doing, and the Town of Uxbridge made a smart choice selecting them. report abuse

  Overall, the roadwork in Pittsfield is showing some positive progress, but there are definitely areas for improvement. They’re moving quickly on the main road, which is good, though the surface quality could be smoother. I noticed some particularly rough patches on Valentine Road – it felt quite bumpy in certain sections. It seems like different companies may have handled different parts of the project, as the work on one side of the road was particularly messy. While I appreciate them tackling these repairs, I hope they can focus on a more polished and professional finish going forward. report abuse

  Honestly, my experience with Ludlow was incredibly frustrating and disappointing. They were completely unprofessional – they never took responsibility for any issues they caused to my property, and it was nearly impossible to get them to acknowledge the damage. I spent weeks trying to get a clear explanation or resolution, constantly being bounced around to different people who had no idea who had contacted them before. They simply ignored my calls and emails. It wasn’t until I persisted for three weeks that someone finally responded, and even then, the interaction was rude and dismissive.   “Overall, there were some serious concerns raised about this company. It appeared that safety protocols weren’t being consistently followed, with foremen disregarding traffic laws. Furthermore, the customer service from the front desk staff was unfortunately lacking – they came across as rude and didn’t prioritize customer service.   I’m incredibly disappointed with the work done on the Chicopee project. Honestly, if I could give zero stars, I would. They’ve completely ruined every street they’ve touched, showed absolutely no regard for the damage they’ve caused, and then just left it all to sit there. It’s unbelievable that Chicopee allowed this to continue – it’s a serious lack of responsibility. report abuse

  I was really disappointed with my experience. The crew started incredibly early, and there wasn't any equipment set up before they began work. What was most concerning was the unprofessional behavior – the employees were shouting at each other and seemed completely oblivious to the nearby homes. Frankly, I wouldn’t recommend this company due to the lack of respect and overall poor conduct. report abuse

  “I just wanted to say, the work your crew did on the stone walls at 181 is absolutely fantastic! It’s amazing how much they’ve restored – some were practically gone, and now they look incredible.   “This was a really serious issue. The individual left a CAT machine completely blocking the conservation trail and, incredibly, damaged the front entrance of the machine itself. Their behavior was completely unacceptable and frankly, very concerning. It raised questions about their judgment and professionalism.” report abuse
