  Rita’s furniture is absolutely stunning – it’s truly a step above anything you’d find at a big box store. The quality is exceptional, and it’s built to last. What really sets her apart is that she’s a professional interior designer, not just someone selling furniture. We were so impressed with the craftsmanship and the gorgeous fabrics.   Rita was absolutely fantastic to work with when I moved into my apartment – it was a huge change, and honestly, a bit overwhelming! She really went the extra mile, making the whole process so much smoother with her visits, helpful advice, and even delivering things. I was so impressed that she also started creating those beautiful birch paintings of winter scenes, and I now have one hanging in my den. I really value her expertise and now consider her a friend.   I’ve always been a big fan of Interiors by Design – Rita, the owner, and I’ve been friends for a long time, even going to Redeemer Lutheran Church together. I especially look forward to her Christmas open house every year; it’s the perfect place to get all my holiday decorations! Rita’s always been so generous, and I’ve even helped her come up with Christmas cookie ideas in the past.   Rita is a fantastic shopkeeper! She was so patient with me as I was looking for a new table, and she really helped me find the perfect one. I’ve even brought my friends along, and they’ve always found something they loved. I’m a regular – I usually pop in at least twice a month to see what new treasures she has.   “I was really disappointed with this shop. I bought a Ralph Lauren chandelier, and it was clearly a cheap, mass-produced imitation – I couldn’t even sell it, it was brand new in the box. Honestly, it felt like a glorified trinket shop, and most of the items they sell seem like they’d end up in the trash.” report abuse

  I was passing through Marquette on a business trip when I spotted a sign for a sale, and I couldn’t resist checking it out. I found a parking spot and went inside, where the owner greeted me. I was really impressed with the selection – they had everything from a beautiful Hubbardton Forge floor lamp to some really unique Italian pieces. I ended up grabbing a few throw pillows to complete our living room and was so happy with my finds. It’s a fantastic store with a really cool, eclectic mix of brands and prices, and the designer seems really talented. It’s definitely a gem in Marquette! report abuse

  “I’ve known Rita for years – we’re both members of the same church in Marquette. She’s just wonderful! Every November, she always asks me for Christmas cookie ideas for her annual open house. Last year, I suggested she make Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer cookies, and she was so kind to save me three of them.   “This store is a real gem for a small town – it’s amazing how they’ve transformed that old car dealership into such a cool, trendy space. Honestly, I’ve only heard fantastic things about it and their customers; it’s clearly a popular spot with high-quality furniture, and not at all the kind of place you’d find ‘trailer trash’.” report abuse
