When it came time to build my final home, I knew I wanted to go with Joseph Douglas Homes. I really liked the models they had and spent some time at their home show, meeting Darren and Mike, and I felt a strong connection with their team. What really stood out was how easy they made the whole process. I could handle so much of the work right at their office, and I loved working with the interior decorator and Darren on the architectural details. I started with their base model and, with the help of Dave the architect and Darren, was able to transform it into the dream home I’d always envisioned. Barry, the expediter, was fantastic too – he really kept things moving smoothly. Honestly, the whole team at Joseph Douglas Homes is fantastic.   We absolutely love our new home built by Joseph Douglas Homes! We’ve been living here for over a year and a half now, and we’re so incredibly happy with our decision. From the very beginning, JDH and their contractors were fantastic to work with – they really made the whole building process enjoyable and straightforward. They’ve been great about standing behind their work, and we’ve always appreciated the excellent communication. The all-inclusive pricing was a huge relief, too.   “We had a house built about five years ago, and while the team was generally helpful, the overall experience wasn’t great. There were definitely some hurdles along the way, and it’s really important to get everything in writing – verbal promises just don’t seem to stick with them. Honestly, I’m hesitant to recommend them, and I don’t know how much things have changed in the last five years.” report abuse

  I’m really disappointed with this company’s service. The technician who initially came out was fantastic – incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, and he promised to update me within a couple of weeks. However, I followed up after two weeks and didn’t hear back. I tried again a few days later and received a voicemail, but still no resolution. After another two weeks, I had to chase them down again, and ultimately, the owner declined the job simply saying it would require too much of his time. It felt like they weren’t interested in our project at all. report abuse
