“We were so pleased with Arrow Homes – they built our lake house from start to finish, and we couldn’t be happier. Their crews were incredibly respectful of our property, and the finished house looks absolutely amazing. We would definitely recommend them!”

I’m giving Arrow Homes just one star – honestly, it felt like zero stars were needed. We were really excited to get started with them after hearing fantastic things about their work building homes on the lake. We provided Jennifer with detailed sketches and a list of what we wanted, and she assured us they’d get a first draft to us within a few weeks in July 2021. But nothing happened. Weeks went by, and we still didn’t receive the drawings. Eventually, we got the first set of plans in late October, and we had a good meeting with Jennifer and Dean. They promised an update in three weeks, and we were really hopeful. Of course, that never happened – no calls, no updates, just silence. I tried reaching out again in December, but Jennifer was out, and Dean was in a meeting, so I left a message, but I never heard back. It was incredibly frustrating to feel like they weren't interested in our project, especially since they’d confirmed they’d visited our property. Ultimately, this whole experience was incredibly unprofessional and unfortunately, it delayed the start of our home build.

“Working with this company has unfortunately been a really frustrating experience. We’ve been trying to collaborate on this project since August, and despite numerous calls and emails, we never received the initial plan they promised us for free. Communication has been consistently minimal, and they haven’t followed through on their commitments. We were starting to see some progress, but then we were hit with more delays and, shockingly, a charge for a draft blueprint after we were specifically told to find the design ourselves. We’re really glad we were able to move on and find a builder who’s been fantastic to work with.”

Overall, building our home was a really challenging experience – as it always is! But we’re so thrilled with the final result and would absolutely choose Arrow again. It really requires a lot of flexibility, good problem-solving, and keeping the lines of communication open with everyone involved, especially the contractors. Just remember to stay on top of everything to make the process smoother.

“I was really disappointed with Arrow Homes. They seemed to lose interest in building a smaller house for me, and their quote was shockingly high – over $60,000 more than another company charged for a similar project. What’s more, their quote didn’t include basic things like cabinets and countertops, which were standard features with the other company, while they were offered as upgrades with Arrow Homes.”

I’m incredibly disappointed with the work Arrow Homes delivered. The quality was shockingly poor – my walls are crooked, the floors are uneven, and they completely missed the floor joists when they were nailing. They didn’t even bother with adhesive, and, unbelievably, they failed to install a floor drain as specified in the blueprints. Furthermore, they attached the front porch directly to the house when the plans called for a free-standing structure. The project took two months longer than anticipated, and I unfortunately had to stop working due to a back injury. Honestly, I’ve built houses correctly for years and I can confidently say this was substandard construction. I strongly advise against using Arrow Homes – their work is simply unacceptable.

-
Arrow Homes is a really impressive construction company – they offer a fantastic range of options and clearly operate with a very thorough and thoughtful approach.
-
“I genuinely had a fantastic experience working with this company – it’s easily the most reputable I’ve ever encountered.”
-
“I’ve done a lot of work for them, and I can confidently say their homes are built to a really high standard – everything’s always gone smoothly.”
