  Overall, we’re really pleased with AirTime. We got a few quotes after our AC unit went out, and they offered the best price, which was a big factor in our decision. The installation itself was smooth, although there was an unfortunate incident – while moving the air handler, they did scratch our new floor. I immediately brought it to the attention of Zander, and thankfully, Vince stepped in right away. They were incredibly apologetic and took immediate action, coordinating with our flooring company to have the damage fixed quickly. Vince kept us constantly updated throughout the process, and it was all handled so professionally. Now that the AC is working perfectly, we really appreciate their commitment to resolving the floor issue – it showed us they stand behind their work. I scheduled a routine AC maintenance appointment for $40, and they assured me everything was fine. Just seven days later, my AC stopped working and started making a strange noise. When I called them back, they diagnosed a leak and immediately started adding refrigerant at $125 per pound. They added six pounds, but only charged me for five – costing me $625. After the refrigerant was added, they insisted it confirmed the leak, and then presented a huge bill of around $6,000 to find and fix it. I got a second opinion, and another company quickly identified the real issue – a simple fix that didn't require adding refrigerant. It’s clear I was misled and overcharged.   “I couldn’t be happier with Air Time Heating and Cooling! From the very beginning, they were incredibly responsive and offered a really fair price on a new unit, which also included a helpful warranty. When my old system had a problem – it turned out the fan blower had given out, probably because the tenants weren’t changing the filters – I was worried about the cost of repairs. But they handled everything so smoothly, covering both the labor and the parts under warranty. It was a great experience, and it definitely made me realize how important it is to make sure filters are changed regularly.   “Tom was fantastic – he came out within a day to really assess our needs and gave us a detailed consultation. Even better, he managed to get us the exact same AC system for almost $1700 less than other companies we’d contacted. The installation team, Shawn and Joe, were equally great!   Adam was a really helpful and informative guy. He clearly took the time to explain our options for an air conditioning unit and presented us with three different price points – and he didn’t seem to be pushing any particular one. The prices themselves seemed very fair. report abuse
