  Overall, my experience with SGE was fantastic. From the initial sales consultation to the smooth installation and ongoing support, everyone I interacted with was incredibly helpful and responsive. I really appreciated how quickly they answered all my questions about the process, the paperwork, and how everything worked. Honestly, I’d been a little nervous about switching to solar, but SGE made the whole thing feel so much easier and I felt completely confident in their expertise.   Overall, we’re absolutely thrilled with our new solar system from SGE. The entire process was surprisingly smooth – honestly, it would have been a huge headache without their incredible support. From getting the town permits and navigating the rebates to arranging the inspections and installation, the team in the office was fantastic – so friendly, organized, and always available to answer our questions. The installation crew was equally impressive; they completed a large system in just a day and a half, and the workmanship was truly top-notch. Everything was meticulously organized and installed perfectly. They’ve even been fantastic at handling all the paperwork and rebates, just sending us the forms to sign electronically. We’re already generating more electricity than we use, which is amazing, especially considering it was a gray February! The only minor thing we’d say is that the app for monitoring the system is a little basic, but we’ve found the SunPower app to be much more user-friendly. We can’t recommend SGE highly enough – they sell a fantastic product and made the whole experience effortless. If you're considering solar, don't hesitate, it’s a great investment, and it’s wonderful to know we’re using clean energy! report abuse

  Overall, we’ve been incredibly pleased with our experience with Second Generation Energy. We went completely off-grid in January 2013 and, so far, we’re generating a little over 4 megawatts – which is about 20% more than the initial guarantee. It’s fantastic to see such positive results, especially with the reduced electric bills. Everyone we’ve worked with at Second Generation has been fantastic, and I’d absolutely recommend them to anyone considering a similar off-grid setup. report abuse

  “I’ve been really pleased with Second Generation’s work installing my solar system – I’ve owned it for ten years now and haven’t had any major issues, just one inverter replacement which was covered under warranty. Looking back, they’ve consistently paid me over a thousand dollars a year in rebates, which has been fantastic.” report abuse

  Honestly, I’m really disappointed with this company. Despite the positive reviews I’ve seen, it’s hard to believe they’re genuine. We’ve experienced some serious issues with their communication – they seem to appear and disappear at will, and rarely explain what’s happening. It’s been a constant struggle to get through to them, and they clearly don’t prioritize customer convenience. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. report abuse
