  Blair Construction did a fantastic job renovating our custom home – it was a truly complex project, and we were so impressed with their professionalism and attention to detail. From the very beginning, Jim Blair and his team worked closely with us, even as we were still finalizing the design. They were particularly helpful in building our confidence with the unusual structural aspects of the build. Jim went above and beyond, working closely with our structural engineer to address the unique challenges, and he also ensured the specialized cladding material was installed correctly. The building permit process was handled quickly and efficiently. Throughout the project, we added extra elements like insulation and a custom chimney, and despite the significant amount of work involved, we never experienced any serious coordination problems with the other trades. Even with the unusually heavy rainfall during construction, Jim and his team kept things on track, always communicating clearly about any interruptions and providing us with realistic timelines for getting back to work. We’re so pleased with the final result and would absolutely recommend Blair Construction – especially if you’re undertaking a custom or non-standard project. We’ve even used them for a separate roofing job and were delighted with their work then too! report abuse

  Courtney was fantastic – so polite and patient, she really took the time to schedule the repair for my gable vent. And I was so impressed when it was actually completed the very next day! Freddie, the service manager, kept me updated with a text confirming everything was on track. The team did a great job assessing and fixing the vent, and Freddie was there to oversee the work.   Blair Construction really stood out to me when I was getting bids for my roofing project. While their price was competitive, what impressed me most was the level of detail in their proposal – particularly their focus on high-quality underlayment and flat roof products. It’s so important to find a company that doesn't cut corners on these key elements. Plus, working on my historic home meant dealing with some unique challenges, like tight conditions and a lot of curious neighbors, and Bill Smith, the roofing supervisor, was fantastic, being on-site every day. I was also reassured to learn that Blair is a GAF Master Elite contractor – you can verify this on their website – and I eventually received the warranty information months after the job was finished. report abuse

  “I was a little hesitant to hire a company that didn’t offer free estimates for smaller jobs, but honestly, the promise of a quick roof repair was too good to pass up. I’d already gotten a couple of quotes, and the idea of having someone out right away to take care of it was really appealing. The guy was fantastic – he arrived within an hour of my call, brought the exact matching shingles, and fixed two areas of my roof, even one that was still showing early signs of trouble. He explained everything clearly and was happy to just get it done if I approved, and the price was shockingly low – half of what the other companies quoted! It was all done in under an hour with photos showing the before and after. Seriously, friendly, fast, and fair service – I’d definitely call them again.” report abuse

Courtney was fantastic at scheduling the appointment, and Freddie was great too, taking the time to figure out exactly what was causing the problem and then getting it resolved efficiently.
