  “I can’t say enough good things about J.C. Miller – they were absolutely fantastic to work with! From start to finish, they were professional, delivered outstanding work, and offered a really competitive price. We recently renovated our home and decided to bring in a landscape planner to address some outdated sidewalks and steps. We were really impressed with John’s ability to listen to our vision and offer expert advice. Unlike other contractors who tried to steer us in a different direction, he truly understood what we wanted. The final design is beautiful and perfectly suited to our house. The team was incredibly reliable and friendly, always checking in with us and ensuring they were staying true to our plan. They worked quickly and efficiently, and we absolutely love the quality of their work. Even better, when a delivery driver accidentally damaged the freshly poured concrete, they responded immediately, assessed the damage, and worked to fix it. They even helped us navigate a claim with the delivery company’s insurance – John and Jill were so supportive and went above and beyond to ensure we got a fair resolution. Honestly, they’ve been amazing partners throughout this entire project. We’ll definitely be calling them again for any future landscaping needs!” report abuse

  Overall, I’m really pleased with the patio JC Miller and Sons installed – it looks great! However, the experience was a bit frustrating due to some communication issues. They missed the original deadline for re-installing the railings on Thursday, and then John stopped responding completely for the weekend. I’m so grateful for my patient neighbors who helped deal with the situation. While the railings are technically installed, they’re quite loose and I’m concerned about their stability. Also, they left quite a mess – nails, my planter, and a lot of dirt scattered around the lawn, plus some stains on the sidewalk. I’d give it a B- overall. report abuse

  Overall, the work done on my sidewalk and steps was deeply unsatisfactory. There was a significant error – the form was off by three inches on either side, and the new cement poured on my sidewalk actually cracked it. The landing area was also much wider than the original steps, making it difficult to maneuver with the snowblower and lawnmower. While they did manage to fix one side of the cracked sidewalk, they completely ignored the other side, and it’s now cracked as well. The contractor initially offered to address any future issues, but now refuses to resolve the problem. Furthermore, they left cement splatters on my house and a lot of loose cement scattered around the work area – it felt like a really incomplete and careless job. report abuse

  Overall, John and Kelly did a fantastic job with our patio project. They were incredibly patient and really listened to us, making sure they understood exactly what we envisioned. The concrete work itself was top-notch, and the finished patio with the built-in space for the trash can and steps leading up to the house look absolutely amazing. John was consistently on-site, checking in to confirm everything was going according to plan, and his helpers were a pleasure to have around. report abuse
