I’m incredibly disappointed and frankly, disgusted by this experience. To walk onto someone’s property and, on top of that, intentionally harm their deceased pet is absolutely unacceptable. The lack of respect shown was appalling, and the way this was handled was deeply insensitive and showed a complete disregard for the woman’s grief. I strongly believe this behavior is completely unprofessional and shameful.

I’m incredibly disappointed with the level of service I received. Frankly, the team’s performance was shockingly inadequate – it felt like a complete waste of time and resources. The single online video I saw was a really concerning reflection of how the department operates, demonstrating a serious lack of respect and consideration for the community. It’s truly embarrassing, and I expect a significant improvement in how the team handles its responsibilities.

“It’s incredibly disheartening to see how these figures responded. Their dismissive attitude and lack of action really let the public down. I was particularly disappointed with the mayor and governor’s failure to address the situation, highlighting a concerning disconnect between those in power and the people they represent.”

I was extremely disappointed with the conduct of the firefighters in this situation. The lack of respect shown, particularly stepping on a deceased pet, was completely unacceptable and deeply upsetting. As a resident of Minnesota, I found this behavior shameful and hope appropriate action is taken.

I’m incredibly disappointed with this experience. It felt completely dismissive and frankly, quite unpleasant. It’s concerning that they seemed unwilling to listen to my concerns, and honestly, the way they handled the situation was deeply disrespectful. I’m ashamed to see this kind of behavior representing our community, and I’m wondering where the traditional Minnesota approach to service and understanding has gone. The firefighters in particular need significant additional training in communication and empathy – their response was simply unacceptable.

This was a deeply concerning incident. The disregard shown for a memorial honoring a deceased pet, and the deliberate action of stomping on it, was incredibly insensitive. It’s clear that communication skills need significant improvement, and a simple act of listening would have completely averted this hurtful behavior.

“Honestly, it was frustrating seeing that happen, especially given the conditions – it was snowy and they were right there where they could have easily stopped it. It’s really important to take responsibility for your actions and not let pride get in the way when someone’s trying to help.”
-
“That was completely unacceptable. It was incredibly disrespectful to step on someone’s deceased pet during a controlled fire – a truly thoughtless and upsetting act.”
-
“I was incredibly disappointed with this response. It felt incredibly cold and dismissive, and frankly, showed a serious lack of empathy. To suggest I should discuss this with a neighbor instead of addressing a potentially urgent situation was unacceptable. It’s concerning when someone in a position of responsibility doesn’t demonstrate basic compassion, especially when people’s lives could be at risk.”

It was really impressive to see the Minneapolis Fire Department working so hard this morning to tackle the fire near Bde Maka Ska. It’s frustrating to see them get so much unwarranted criticism from people who seem to enjoy stirring up trouble. Honestly, I just wanted to say thank you – a huge thank you – for your dedication and for doing such a good job.
