Honestly, this company has incredible talent – when they actually get to work. We had them do a full grind and polish on our house, and the finished product was fantastic, though it took several callbacks to get it right. The biggest issue, though, has been the complete lack of follow-through on service requests. I’ve been waiting nearly a year for basic maintenance work, and after repeated calls and promises of a quick response, I’ve heard nothing. It’s incredibly frustrating to be ignored after so many attempts. While their skills are undeniable, effective communication and timely service are essential, and they’ve clearly fallen short.

“I was incredibly pleased with the work Terry Burgess and his team did for me. They efficiently handled a large-scale concrete removal and repouring project, and the crew was fantastic – skilled, friendly, and incredibly reliable. Not only was the quality of their work excellent, but the price was significantly lower than other bids I received. I couldn’t be happier and highly recommend Burgess Concrete Construction Company.”

“Burgess really stepped up and got the job done quickly after the previous contractor had issues. Tim was fantastic – he responded to my calls promptly, scheduled the work within a week of our initial conversation, and the crew did a really solid job, completing everything on time and leaving the site spotless. I’m very pleased with the result!”

I was incredibly frustrated with the situation I encountered while waiting downtown in Holland. A company’s semi-truck was completely blocking a significant portion of 8th Street, with no closure signs in place. This created a massive backup of traffic, and I, along with other drivers, were stuck for 15 minutes because we couldn’t navigate around the truck and parked cars. To add to the problem, the employee I spoke to was dismissive and rude, simply shrugged and told me they’d be finished “in a few minutes.” It’s deeply concerning that the city council and mayor are partnering with this company on revitalization projects, especially considering this kind of disregard for public safety and traffic flow. I’ve reported the issue to the city and the police, and also to the Better Business Bureau.

“Burgess did a fantastic job installing the concrete steel-reinforced support pad using the new gundrill Model Die provided. The quality of the work was excellent, and he demonstrated a really high level of professionalism throughout the entire project.”
-
“The team was fantastic – really great work overall, and I was particularly impressed with the crane operator; they were doing a phenomenal job.”
-
“I was quite bothered by some of the drivers in the trucks with the company’s name on them – their behavior was unnecessarily rude.”
-
“This company really seems to have a fantastic culture – the people working there are truly amazing!”

Overall, this Bible study group offered a valuable opportunity for reflection and connection with faith. The members seemed engaged and genuinely interested in exploring the scriptures. There’s room for further development in terms of incorporating more interactive discussion prompts and diverse interpretations.
