  “I was really disappointed with this rental. The machine arrived with dull, rusted blades, and when I purchased replacement blades as advised by the staff, they turned out to be the incorrect ones. Worse still, upon returning to the job site, I discovered the bolts holding the old blades were stripped and couldn't be removed. It was a complete mess, especially after the problems we’d already had on Friday, and I strongly advise anyone considering renting from this place to proceed with extreme caution.” report abuse

  “I was incredibly disappointed with my rental experience. It turned out the machine had issues stemming from a previous repair, and the mechanic couldn’t even fix it – we needed a service manager from a different city to step in. The machine broke down just days before my return date, and despite their efforts, they couldn’t resolve the problem and refused to offer a credit. Frankly, it felt like they were more concerned about the cost of a simple wiring fix than addressing the real issue, which was a blown fuse. Adding to the frustration, the machine was in such poor condition that they ultimately sold it during my rental period and attempted to replace it with a non-cab unit, despite me having waited two months for a backhoe with a cab in the first place. The whole situation was handled poorly and felt like a deliberate attempt to intimidate and mislead me.” report abuse

  “The Dozier machine was plagued with serious issues throughout the week, significantly impacting our productivity. We initially reported a leak and a popping/flapping sound coming from the right track, needing a new sprocket. Unfortunately, a second hydraulic line failed just two days later, and the clacking noise escalated dramatically, making the Dozier difficult to maneuver and slowing down our work. This required us to use the excavator as a substitute, adding considerable time, labor, fuel costs, and essentially doubling the effort to complete tasks. Ultimately, the operator was unable to tolerate the noise and walked off the job on May 23rd after five days of struggling with the malfunctioning machine without any repairs or replacement. Adding to the problems, the rental excavator also developed a hydraulic leak at the bucket on the same day. We contacted United at 7:30 am, but it took them until mid-afternoon to send someone to replace the hose, and even then, the leak persisted – it turned out the technician hadn’t properly tightened the new hose.” report abuse

  “We had a really bad experience with this company. The equipment we rented was unreliable, and we were charged an exorbitant $314 for a faulty hydraulic fitting – it was a simple solder-on fitting! We won’t be renting from them again. We’ve switched to Thompson Cat; their service and repairs are significantly better, and we’ll be doing all our business with them from now on.” report abuse
